Business Architecture Analysts help derive, interpret, and translate detailed business requirements into in depth technical software requirements and specifications through analysis on large projects or business contract pursuits.
You'll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely * from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges. For all hires in the Minneapolis or Washington, D.C. area, you will be required to work in the office a minimum of four days per week.
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Facilitate communication between different stakeholders, translating between business needs and technical requirements
  • Evaluating business processes, anticipating requirements, uncovering areas for improvement, and alternatives
  • Documenting functional and non-functional requirements to drive architectural and engineering decisions
  • Partner with IT peers such as Product Leadership, Engineering Leadership, and Architects to create requirements and design documentations
  • Collaborate and communicate with product areas and their respective feature teams to develop and implement solutions
  • Write and maintain documentation which could include descriptions of program development, logic, coding, testing, changes, and/or corrections
  • Develop comprehensive end-to-end test plans for epics/workstreams to validate feature delivery meets documented requirements

Required Qualifications:
  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of experience developing technical requirements for the implementation of new software
  • 2+ years of experience developing test cases for implemented software
  • Experience in technical writing and/or software documentation
  • Experience working as a liaison between IT professionals and operational stakeholders
  • Advanced understanding of database structures, as well as a basic understanding of relationships between applications
  • Demonstrated successful implementation of large-scale technology projects
  • Demonstrated solid analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated capability to work independently as well as on a team in both a lead and support role and prioritize work while meeting critical deadlines

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Management Information Systems (MIS) or other related field with an emphasis in MIS
  • 4+ years of experience working as a liaison between IT, internal and external business leads and end user community
  • Experience working in a health care environment
  • Commutable distance to La Crosse, WI

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). No matter where or when you begin a career with us, you'll find a far-reaching choice of benefits and incentives. The salary for this role will range from $91,700 to $163,700 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
