Eligible to participate in an uncapped performance-based bonus program
Total annual compensation varies based on individual performance, business results, and other applicable factors. Team members who consistently achieve strong results have the opportunity to earn $175,000- $275,000+ annually

Position Summary:

As a Business Development Associate, you’ll engage directly with business owners, founders, CEOs, and investors to identify acquisition opportunities and facilitate strategic conversations around mergers, acquisitions, and capital markets. Working alongside experienced professionals, you’ll develop new business relationships, conduct market research, evaluate potential opportunities, and contribute to transactions that help shape the future of privately-held companies.

Responsibilities:
Client Acquisition: Actively prospect and cultivate new client relationships through various channels, including extensive telephone out-bounding, networking events, omni-channel marketing campaigns, and referrals. Qualify businesses and business owners to identify their divestiture posture, revenue, ownership structure, EBITDA, actionability, and growth strategy.
Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients by providing exceptional service and personalized financial guidance. Regularly communicate with clients to understand their evolving needs and proactively offer solutions to help them achieve their goals.
Service Promotion: Educate clients on the full range of services offered by the firm. Tailor product recommendations to align with each client's financial and investment objectives and risk profile.
Sales Strategy Execution: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets and revenue goals. Collaborate with internal teams to leverage expertise and resources in delivering comprehensive solutions to clients.
Compliance and Regulation: Ensure compliance with all industry regulations and company policies related to financial services sales activities. Stay updated on changes in financial laws and regulations to ensure adherence and mitigate compliance risks.
Performance Tracking and Reporting: Utilize CRM systems and other tools to track sales activities, monitor client interactions, and generate performance reports. Analyze sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement in sales strategies and client engagement.
Minimum Qualifications:
- BA/BS degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Communications, or related field
- 2+ years minimum experience working in financial services sales, wealth management, private equity, or similar professional B2B sales environment
- FINRA licensing highly preferred
- Exceptional communication and organizational skills
- Demonstrated sales and business acumen
- Demonstrated experience using CRM systems to effectively manage sales activities, maintain pipeline, accuracy, and support business development efforts
- Understanding of corporate financial analysis and financial statements
- Adept at managing multiple projects and completing deliverables on schedule
- Discipline to manage workload while working in a digital environment
- Ability to work independently and interdependently within a fast paced, entrepreneurial team environment
- Commitment to integrity, professionalism, and ethical conduct in all client and company interactions
