XTEND is on a mission to increase the combat effectiveness and lethality of the warfighter by developing human guided autonomous multi-robot missions. We revolutionize military operations and ensure the safety of fighters through advanced technology.
We are seeking a highly motivated and results oriented Business Development Director to lead our growth in the US Department of Defense (DoD) market.
- Main Responsibilities
- Focus: Market creation, strategic partnerships, and deal origination
- Strategic partnerships (OEMs, primes, gov’t agencies)
- Opportunity shaping and capture for new markets / customer sets
- Long-range pipeline creation
- Identifies government and defense innovation initiatives
- Work with the leadership team to align tech roadmaps with customer missions
- Works closely with CTO/Product to shape bids
- Leads pursuit strategy for large deals
- Pipeline tracking, market intelligence, and early engagement support
- Minimum of 5-7 years of hardware sales experience in the US DoD market
- Bachelor’s Degree – required; MBA or equivalent – preferred
- Experienced in working in hardware and product companies, UAS a plus
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- US military service a plus
- Travel up to 75%
- Ability to obtain Security Clearance
