Open the New York market for an AI-native legal services business targeting banks, funds, insurers, and other regulated institutions. Build pipeline from zero, engage senior legal and compliance buyers, run complex enterprise sales cycles, coordinate proposals with lawyers, navigate procurement and security reviews, develop positioning and repeatable sales processes, and establish CRM, reporting, and automation. The role will own the commercial motion and eventually hire and scale the team.

About us

Omnilex started by building the AI workspace lawyers actually want to use, including the world's first AI-powered legal commentary, a living layer of legal understanding that redefines how lawyers work. In just one year, that product became the daily tool of thousands of legal professionals across Switzerland, Germany, and Liechtenstein, and a leading legal AI workspace in those markets.

Now we are using that foundation to build something even bigger: the AI-native law firm in the US. Every case the firm's lawyers solve becomes a productized, AI-native service. Legal capability that scales, compounds, and can be deployed on demand for the next client. With a USD 4.5M raise, we're scaling internationally. You'll be joining a small, ambitious team of 17.

--

Legal services in the US are provided by an independent law firm owned by licensed attorneys. Omnilex is its technology and operations partner.

The role

You are our first commercial hire in New York, opening the US market with banks, funds, and insurers.

You will sell a category that does not exist yet: legal work delivered as an AI-native service, to general counsel, heads of compliance, and legal operations at financial institutions. Long cycles, senior buyers, real substance in every conversation.

You will work side by side with the firm's lawyers and the founders. They bring the legal credibility; you build the pipeline, run the process, and turn interest into signed engagements.

There is no playbook waiting for you. You write it, from first outreach to repeatable motion, and it becomes how we go to market across the US.

What you will do

Pipeline and demand

  • Build the NY pipeline from zero: target account list, outbound, events, referral and partner channels

  • Get in front of GCs, heads of compliance, legal ops and business owners at banks, asset managers, funds and insurers

  • Turn our thought leadership and existing relationships into conversations

Running the cycle

  • Run the commercial process end to end: qualification, discovery, and coordinating scoping and proposals with the firm's lawyers through to signature

  • Translate a legal problem into a commercial proposition the buyer can approve internally

  • Navigate procurement, security review, and panel processes at regulated institutions

Building the motion

  • Define the positioning and materials that make the AI-native firm easy to buy

  • Feed what you hear in the market straight back into which services we productize next

  • Build the CRM, reporting, and automation that make the motion repeatable, then hire behind it

This list will not stay static. As the US business grows, so does your scope.

Who you are
  • Several years of enterprise or complex B2B sales, business development, or client-facing consulting, with a closing record you can walk us through

  • You have sold into financial institutions or professional services, and you are comfortable with six/seven-figure deals and long cycles

  • You have built pipeline from nothing. Cold outreach to a senior stranger is interesting to you, not intimidating

  • Substantive enough to hold your own with a general counsel on a first call, and to know when to bring the lawyer in

  • Structured and self-directed. Your pipeline is accurate, and nothing falls through the cracks

  • Entrepreneurial. The prospect of opening a market from the first conversation is the reason you are interested

  • Native/fluent English, based in New York

Bonus:

  • Existing relationships with GCs, compliance or legal ops leadership at banks, funds or insurers

  • Legal, legal-tech, or financial-services background, or experience selling into regulated buyers

  • You have built something with AI, not just used it. An automation, an agent, a workflow. Tell us what it does

Why join Omnilex
  • You own the NY commercial motion from day one: your accounts, your pipeline, your playbook

  • Sophisticated financial-sector buyers and deals with real substance, not volume-driven SaaS churn

  • Competitive compensation with meaningful upside

  • Direct line to the managing partner, the founders, and the engineers building the product
