Where You Come In: 

Business Development Representative 100% Remote (anywhere in the U.S.). If you prefer, you may choose to work in a hybrid capacity or on-site at our corporate headquarters in State College, PA - but this is completely optional and not required. 


Sales & Business Development:

Our Business Development Team is the engine behind KCF's growth. As a Business Development Representative, you'll open doors with new and existing accounts across industrial verticals such as automotive, chemicals, food & beverage, forest products, metals, mining, oil & gas, utilities, and wastewater and you’ll build the pipeline that fuels our revenue success. This is a team where hunters thrive: top performers are recognized, rewarded, and given a clear runway to grow into closing roles.

Essential Functions: 

  • Aggressively prospect and generate new sales demonstration opportunities through outbound calls, emails, text messages, and LinkedIn outreach
  • Understand and uncover customer pain points as well as how KCF Technologies solves these issues through our value proposition and comprehensive machine health platform 
  • Research target accounts, identify key stakeholders, and build a well-organized pipeline within your assigned verticals 
  • Partner closely with sales executives to convert prospecting work into qualified, high-value demos 
  • Own your numbers: Achieve monthly targets for calls, demos, elevating the conversation, and converted deals 
  • Become a true product and industry expert, fluent in delivering KCF's platform and value proposition 
  • Represent the KCF brand in every interaction, responding quickly and professionally to inbound interest

Qualifications:  

  • 1+ years in a customer-facing, sales-support, or outbound prospecting role
  • A track record of hitting targets and building relationships that convert 
  • Confidence with cold outreach and comfort using modern sales tools
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Resourceful and able to find innovative ways to achieve results
  • Track record of building strong cross-functional relationships/partnerships
  • Bachelor's or associate degree preferred, not required 
  • Ability to travel less than 25% to customer sites or tradeshows, as needed
