About Tava Health

At Tava Health, we believe mental health care should be as accessible and stigma-free as a checkup. We're reimagining the entire experience: from how people find a therapist to how providers deliver care, so more individuals can get the support they need, when they need it.

We’re a fast-growing team on a bold mission: to make high-quality mental health care available to everyone. If you’re passionate about using technology to solve meaningful problems and create lasting change, we’d love to meet you.

The Role

This is a strategic top-of-funnel role. Your job is to identify the right employers at the right time, build enough context to reach out with a real reason, and book qualified discovery meetings for our Account Executive team.

We use AI, intent data, and research tools to be surgical about who we contact and when. AI handles the repetitive work (research, data enrichment, drafting, prioritization) so you can spend your time on what actually moves deals: strategic, human conversations with the right people. When you pick up the phone, you're calling someone who has a buying signal, at a company that fits our ICP, with something personalized and relevant to say.

Unlike most BDR roles, high performers at Tava may earn opportunities to travel and represent Tava in the field -attending industry events, presenting at broker offices, etc. If you can articulate Tava's offering and demonstrate results, you will gain exposure that accelerates your development and your career trajectory.

What You'll Do
  • Research and prioritize accounts.

  • Run targeted outbound.

  • Build multi-channel sequences.

  • Navigate the employer-broker dynamic.

  • Qualify to PANT.

  • Own the handoff.

  • Continuously sharpen your targeting.

What We're Looking For

The right candidate thinks before they dial. You're someone who'd rather make 30 researched calls and book 3 real meetings than make 200 blind dials and book 1 marginal one. You understand that effort without direction is just noise.

You're comfortable with technology and curious about AI. You don't need to be an engineer. But you should be the kind of person who instinctively reaches for a better tool, figures out how to use it, and builds small workflows that eliminate busywork. The goal isn't to automate the human out of sales -it's to use AI so you can be more human when it counts. ZoomInfo, NOOKS, Salesforce, Claude, ChatGPT -you'll use all of them, and you'll get better at all of them.

You're analytically minded and personally engaging. The best BDRs here can dissect a prospect's benefits profile and have a warm, confident conversation with an HR or Benefits Leader

You take qualification seriously. You're not trying to inflate your meeting count. You want qualified pipeline that translates to real opportunities and eventual revenue and you know the difference between a meeting that should happen and one that's just a number on a report.

You're coachable and fast-moving. This is a small team. Feedback happens fast. You need to be willing to change your approach when something isn't working.

Nice to have:

  • Understanding of the employer benefits ecosystem -how employers, benefits brokers, and consultants interact when making benefits decisions

  • Experience in digital health, health tech, or the employer benefits space

  • Genuine interest in mental health or improving access to care

Why You’ll Love Working at Tava:
  • Competitive salary and stock options (so you share in the company’s success).

  • Fully-covered medical and dental premiums for you and your family, plus voluntary insurance options.

  • Free, generous Tava mental health benefit — of course!

  • Monthly HSA contributions for qualifying enrolled employees.

  • Generous PTO and paid holidays.

  • Paid parental leave.

  • 401(k) retirement plan.

  • Weekly company-paid lunch via DoorDash and a personal DashPass subscription.

  • Opportunity to make a meaningful impact at a high-growth, mission-driven company.
