Job Description:

We are looking for an ambitious Real Estate Business Development Representative based remotely, to oversee:

The Role

As our Real Estate Business Development Representative, you'll work directly with the US-based Head of Business Development on various projects including but not limited to:

  1. Lead Qualification and Outreach:

    1. Identify sales opportunities by qualifying inbound leads (suggest suitable options based on client requirements)

    2. Initiate contact with potential clients through cold calls and emails.

    3. Qualify, manage, and progress a pipeline of potential owners and brokers.

    4. Engage with owners and brokers through calls, emails, and chats on partner platforms, effectively promoting the luxury Rove experience.

  2. Business Development:

    1. Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market.

    2. Arrange viewings or meetings between (prospective) clients and the Head of Real Estate.

    3. Streamline routine tasks within the Real Estate team to optimize performance and focus on strategic tasks.

    4. Contribute to achieving monthly and quarterly revenue objectives.

    5. Establish connections with brokers, prospective owners, and 3rd party agencies

    6. Rapidly iterate on feedback to enhance team, workflow, market occupancy, and revenue.

  3. Market Analysis and Collaboration:

    1. Collaborate with the internal pricing team, sharing insights and market research for property comping and underwriting.

    2. Work closely with operations and launch teams to maximize home occupancy upon availability.

Who You Are

  • Native equivalent fluency in business English will be essential for this role

  • Ability to run proper exploratory/discovery calls, be an active listener, manage objections and negotiation

  • You’re bubbly and enjoy interacting with people!

  • Empathy and sales skills- ideally within Tech, Hotel or Real Estate sales

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

  • Strong organization skills

  • Proficiency in computer, web, and mobile phone apps

  • Customer-first mindset and closing mindset with a sense of urgency

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment

  • Use and understand our CRM (HubSpot)

  • A coachable individual able to implement feedback

  • A highly consultative, active listener, with strong objection management and negotiation skills

Bonus Points if...

  • Sales and/or Real Estate experience in short term rentals or hotels

  • Start-up experience

  • Experience working with tech products (like: HubSpot, Slack, OpenPhone, G-Suite, & Guesty)
