Labcorp is seeking a remote Business Operations Analyst II to join our North Central Division. 

The Business Operations Analyst II is responsible for delivering high-quality business intelligence, analytics, and reporting solutions that support commercial and operational ‑decision-making‑ across the organization. This role partners with leaders and key stakeholders to translate business needs into actionable insights using Tableau, Power BI, Copilot and additional analytical and AI tools. The analyst will streamline and automate data management, data analytics, and data visualization processes to increase efficiency, accuracy, and the accessibility of critical business information.

The ideal candidate has strong analytical capability, a problem-solving‑ mindset, and experience transforming data into intuitive dashboards and reports that inform strategy and performance.

 Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop, enhance, and maintain interactive Tableau dashboards and reports that provide clear and actionable insights to operational leaders and stakeholders. 
  • Conduct data analysis to identify trends, patterns, performance drivers, and opportunities for operational improvement. 
  • Translate business questions into analytical approaches that support decision-making. 
  • Validate data accuracy and ensure consistency across reporting platforms. 
  • Lead the strategic advancement of AI and Copilot in the Division
  • Streamline and automate recurring data processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort. 
  • Build and optimize data pipelines, using tools such as Alteryx, Tableau Prep, SQL, Excel, or other data integration tools. 
  • Ensure data integrity through quality checks, documentation, and established governance practices. 
  • Maintain data dictionaries, definitions, and reporting standards. 
  • Deliver recurring and ad hoc performance reports to support operational reviews, strategic planning, and business initiatives. 
  • Interpret and communicate insights in a clear, concise manner for both technical and nontechnical audiences. 
  • Support KPI creation, tracking, and refinement across teams. 
  • Provide analytical support for business cases, forecasting models, and process improvement initiatives.  
  • Partner with operational leaders to understand business needs and design analytics solutions that support performance improvement. 
  • Act as a subject matter resource on Tableau capabilities and reporting best practices. 
  • Provide training or documentation to help stakeholders understand dashboards, data definitions, and insights. 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in business analysis, operations analytics, or a related role

Additional Job Standards:

  • Proficiency in Tableau & Power BI (dashboard development, visualization best practices). 
  • Experience with data analysis tools such as Alteryx, Tableau Prep, Power BI, Salesforce SQL, Excel (advanced), Power Query, Python, or similar. 
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and ‑problem-solving‑ skills.
  • Ability to simplify complex data into clear, actionable insights.
  • Strong attention to accuracy, detail, and data quality.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality‑ work within deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to support and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines with high quality deliverables.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
  • Ability to work independently and deliver quality results in a fast-paced environment. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong creative vision with an understanding of business objectives.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills including Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint required.
  • Aptitude to rapidly learn other relevant tools (e.g. Alteryx, SQL Server, etc.).
  • Must have the ability to build collaborative relationships.

Pay Range: $65,000 - $85,000

All job offers will be based on a candidate’s skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data. 

The position is also eligible for bonus and/or commissions under the applicable variable compensation plan.  Bonus/commissions are earned based on achievement of performance metrics under the plan.  

Benefits: Employees regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement and Employee Stock Purchase Plan. Employees regularly scheduled to work less than 20 hours, Casual, Intern, and Temporary employees are only eligible to participate in the 401(k) Plan. Employees who are regularly scheduled to work a 7 on/7 off schedule are eligible to receive all the foregoing benefits except PTO or FTO.
