This is a remote position.

Provide proven, specialized experience from related businesses or organizations as well as system integration and technology experience. This role encompasses working with Mid and Senior management and stakeholders in an organization.

The purpose of this request is to procure Business Systems Consultant Manager services for CAR unit.  The primary tasks the contractor will perform are as follows:  

  •  Responsible for the coordination of analysis of complex issues surrounding the processes and systems of the CAR Unit.
  • Research, document and provided recommendations surrounding improving processes, efficiency and practices.
  • Analyze the ODOT Highway Crash Management Systems, processes, databases and document the AS-IS and TO-BE business processes and technology.
  • Collaborate with CAR Unit about their needs, requirements, and recommend design solution alternatives to ODOT IT business lines.
  •  Provide unit, system, and user acceptance testing support.
  • Provide business line with data review and clean-up assessments.
  • Provide project management guidance and task management.

      - Ability to communicate clearly verbally and in writing.

·     - Demonstrated capability to interact with customers, clearly understand customer needs and document those needs.

·     - Understand System Development Lifecycle methodology. Specifically Requirements Management, Data Management, Functional Specification writing, all forms of testing procedures, and end user training delivery.

·     - Has experience with requirements management and perform analysis within source code if needed.

   - Must have basic knowledge of NHTSA Reporting and Crash Data Management.
