About The Role:

We are looking for a Business Systems Analyst to serve as the liaison between business stakeholders and Information Technology, supporting and enhancing enterprise business systems within our defense manufacturing environment. You will analyze business processes, gather requirements, and configure and support two ERP systems, ensuring seamless integration across Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Procurement, Program Management, and Contracts.

This role is based in the Greater Austin area.

What You'll Do:

● Analyze, document, and improve business processes across multiple functional areas; gather, document, and validate business and functional requirements for system enhancements, upgrades, and new implementations.

● Support the administration, maintenance, and enhancement of two ERP systems, performing configuration, testing, validation, and user acceptance testing (UAT) for releases.

● Collaborate with business stakeholders, IT teams, software vendors, and third-party consultants to deliver technology solutions; troubleshoot system issues, identify root causes, and coordinate resolution with technical teams.

● Develop functional specifications, process documentation, workflows, and training materials; provide end-user training and ongoing functional support for business applications.

● Create and maintain reports, dashboards, and data extracts to support operational and executive decision-making, including ERP integrations with external applications and business intelligence tools.

● Ensure system changes comply with internal controls, cybersecurity policies, and defense industry regulations; participate in ERP upgrades, patches, and data migration activities.

What You'll Need:

● 3–7 years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst, ERP Analyst, or similar role, including experience supporting two ERP platforms in a manufacturing, aerospace, or defense environment.

● Strong understanding of ERP modules such as Finance, Supply Chain, Procurement, Inventory Management, Manufacturing/Production, and Program Management.

● Experience gathering business requirements and translating them into functional specifications; knowledge of SQL and data analysis techniques.

● Experience with testing methodologies, change management, and software implementation projects.

● Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience; excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills; ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

You'll Stand Out:

● Experience supporting ERP platforms such as Odoo, Oracle, SAP, or similar.

● Knowledge of defense contracting and government compliance requirements (DFARS, FAR, ITAR, CMMC, or NIST 800-171).

● Experience with reporting and business intelligence tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or SSRS; familiarity with API integrations, middleware, or ETL processes.

● Project management experience or familiarity with Agile and Waterfall methodologies.

● Relevant certifications such as CBAP, PMI-PBA, PMP, SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft certifications.
