About the role

Job Type: Full-time

As a Finance Leader specializing in Global Operations, you will join our team to architect ROGII’s financial future and provide the executive team with high-level strategic guidance. The ideal candidate should have a passion for building scalable financial frameworks and navigating the complexities of international tax and compliance. We are looking for a data-driven, "player-coach" who thrives in a fast-paced tech environment and has a deep technical background in US GAAP and global fiscal management.

Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Financial Stewardship: Partner with the Founders and Executive Team to develop long-range financial forecasts and capital allocation strategies that fuel ROGII’s global expansion.
  • Global Financial Operations: Oversee the end-to-end accounting function, ensuring the integrity of financial reporting across all international subsidiaries (US, Canada, Latin America, etc.).
  • International Tax & Compliance: Design and manage complex global tax structures, transfer pricing, and multi-jurisdictional compliance to mitigate risk and optimize cash flow.
  • Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A): Lead the annual budgeting process and provide monthly "pulse checks" via variance analysis, helping department heads stay aligned with company goals.
  • Treasury & Risk Management: Manage global banking relationships, currency exchange (FX) risks, and insurance requirements for a distributed workforce.
  • Business Intelligence: Modernize our financial tech stack; transition manual data into automated, real-time dashboards that tell the story of our 350+ global clients.

Requirements:

  • The Foundation: 12+ years of progressive leadership in Finance or Accounting, with at least 5 years in a Director or VP-level seat within a high-growth environment.
  • The Global Edge: Proven experience managing the financial complexities of a multinational company, including consolidated reporting for international entities.
  • Technical Mastery: Deep expertise in US GAAP is required. Experience with international accounting standards (IFRS) and complex revenue recognition (SaaS/Software) is a major plus.
  • Education & Credentials: A Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting is required. CPA or MBA is highly preferred to navigate the technical and strategic demands of the role.
  • Tech-Forward Mindset: You aren't just a spreadsheet user; you are a systems thinker. Experience implementing or optimizing ERPs (like NetSuite, Sage Intacct) and BI tools is essential.
  • Communication Style: Ability to translate complex financial jargon into actionable insights for technical and operational teams. You must be as comfortable in a boardroom as you are in a Slack channel.
  • Industry Knowledge: Experience in the Software/SaaS or Oil & Gas/Energy Tech sectors is a significant advantage, particularly understanding the nuances of global service contracts.

At ROGII, we value diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees. We offer a competitive salary, comprehensive benefits package, and opportunities for professional growth and development. If you are passionate about accounting and want to be part of a dynamic team that is revolutionizing the Oil & Gas industry, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.

Please note a background check will be performed on the successful candidate.
