Chief Business Officer – AI Services

Role Overview

The Chief Business Officer – AI Services at will report directly to the Chief Growth Officer and serve as the visionary leader responsible for driving the company’s AI strategy. This role is pivotal in positioning as a leader in AI innovation, both internally and externally, by developing AI-centric services and products, and fostering a culture of AI excellence.

Interested in candidates who come from a major IT Services environment, ideally with a strong Indian IT Services pedigree, and should have personally built and scaled significant Data, Cloud and, more recently, AI businesses. Not looking for someone whose background is primarily consulting, delivery, operations or corporate strategy.

Strategic Mandate

•    Evangelize AI across the organization and with external stakeholders.
•    Develop and launch AI-centric services and products.
•    Drive focused sales and delivery initiatives aligned with AI strategy.
•    Collaborate with industry and service line teams to deliver growth and profitability.
•    Build programs to hire and upskill talent in AI technologies.

Key Responsibilities

•    Define and execute AI strategy in alignment with corporate goals.
•    Lead the development of AI-based solutions and platforms.
•    Oversee dedicated sales and delivery teams focused on AI initiatives.
•    Represent in industry forums and client engagements as an AI thought leader.
•    Monitor AI trends and ensure the organization remains at the forefront of innovation.

Collaboration Scope

•    Work closely with industry vertical teams to identify AI opportunities.
•    Partner with service line leaders to integrate AI into existing offerings.
•    Foster cross-functional collaboration to accelerate AI adoption and impact.

Talent Development

•    Design and implement programs to recruit top AI talent.
•    Develop internal training initiatives to upskill existing employees in AI.
•    Create a culture of continuous learning and innovation in AI.
