Ivy Fertility is one of the nation's leading fertility and reproductive health platforms, operating a growing network of clinics across the United States. The organization combines clinical excellence with a patient-first model of care, supporting individuals and families through every stage of their fertility journey. Backed by InTandem Capital Partners, the company is entering its next phase of growth — deepening its brand presence domestically while continuing its selective expansion into international markets. We are looking for a full time, Chief Marketing Officer to join our team!

The Chief Marketing Officer leads the marketing and patient-acquisition strategy for a national multi-clinic fertility practice. This is a growth and revenue role with a high-visibility seat on the executive leadership team, reporting directly to the CEO and partnering closely with the Board, clinical leadership, physicians, M&A, People, and Legal/Compliance teams. The CMO owns the top of the patient funnel — local market awareness, lead generation, conversion to consult, referring-physician relationships and regional reputation - and is measured on volume, cost-efficiency, and service-line mix, online reputation - not just brand metrics. The ideal candidate blends healthcare/patient-acquisition marketing and sales expertise with rigorous, data-driven performance management. This is a remote position and will require travel to satellite clinics as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and optimize a multi-million dollar marketing budget across paid media, social media, agencies, MarTech stack, and events/sponsorships for multiple brands

• Own the patient acquisition funnel end-to-end: awareness → website visit → lead → scheduled consult → new-patient start.

• Build and execute an integrated marketing strategy across digital (SEO/SEM/website, paid social, programmatic), content, referral marketing (REI-to-OB/GYN and other physician channels), CRM/lifecycle marketing, and local/regional demand-generation campaigns across all markets.

• Lead physician and clinic-level marketing (provider bios, “meet the doctor” content, individual physician digital presence) to support both patient-direct and referral growth.

• Partner with Operations and Clinic Directors to align marketing-driven demand with clinic capacity/scheduling capacity by location.

• Build and manage a marketing analytics function: attribution modeling, CRM reporting, cost-per-acquisition by channel and by service line (IVF, egg freezing, donor/surrogacy, male fertility, etc.).

• Ensure all marketing content complies with HIPAA, FTC advertising guidance, ASRM/SART guidelines, and state-specific healthcare advertising regulations.

• Hire, develop, and manage the internal sales and marketing team and manage relationships with external agencies/vendors.

• Other duties as assgined.

Measurable Goals and KPIs (Year One)

1. Patient Acquisition & Funnel Performance

  • Increase new-patient consult volume year-over-year, measured monthly against a rolling baseline.
  • Achieve and maintain a lead-to-consult conversion rate (benchmark, then improve quarter over quarter).
  • Reduce average cost-per-scheduled-consult (CPA), by channel.
  • Reduce cost-per-new-patient-start.
  • Grow marketing-sourced revenue (vs. referral/organic-sourced revenue) of total new-patient revenue, tracked by attribution model.

2. Digital Channel Performance

  • Grow organic search visibility: increase organic sessions and improve first-page rankings for priority keyword clusters (e.g., “IVF near me,” “egg freezing cost,” city + fertility clinic).
  • Maintain paid media efficiency: keep blended CPA and improve paid-channel ROAS.
  • Grow qualified marketing leads (MQLs) year-over-year.
  • Improve organic website conversion rate (visit → lead form/call).
  • Grow CRM email/SMS nurture engagement: open rate, click rate, and “not-yet-ready” leads converted to consult

3. Referral & Physician Channel Growth

  • Create and manage marketing campaigns and motivate field sales force to increase new-patient volume from physician referrals (OB/GYNs, urologists, PCPs) year-over-year.
  • Increase the number of actively referring physicians-new practices/providers per year.
  • Launch and maintain a referring-provider communication program (newsletter, liaison visits, CME events) referring-provider engagement/open rate.

4. Content & Patient Experience

  • Increase regional branded search volume
  • Partner with local practice leaders to ensure 90% or better call answer rate

5. Multi-Site & Service-Line Mix

  • Achieve new-patient-start targets at each clinic location relative to available appointment/patient capacity
  • Grow revenue mix in strategically prioritized service lines (e.g., egg freezing, donor programs), measured independently from core IVF/retrieval volume

6. Budget & Operational Efficiency

  • Deliver against approved marketing budget, with monthly budget-to-actual reporting.
  • Present a monthly marketing performance dashboard to the CEO/Board with attribution, CPA by channel and by clinic, funnel conversion rates, and ROI by campaign.
  • Reduce reliance on any single acquisition channel and prioritize total pipeline, to prioritized channels to improve ROI.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 15+ years of marketing leadership experience driving enterprise growth at scale - with at least 10+ years in healthcare, fertility, aesthetics, dental, or another high-consideration/emotionally sensitive, consumer-direct medical category.
  • A powerful combination of executive business acumen, creative vision, and deep technical data skills.
  • Proven track record owning a patient/consumer acquisition funnel with revenue and volume accountability, not just brand awareness metrics.
  • Strong command of digital performance marketing (SEO, SEM, paid social, marketing automation/CRM) and of measurement/attribution.
  • Experience managing multi-location marketing strategy and budget across geographically distinct markets.
  • Familiarity with healthcare marketing compliance (HIPAA, FTC, state advertising rules) and ideally ASRM/SART awareness.
  • Experience with physician referral marketing and/or B2B partnerships with employers or fertility benefit platforms is a strong plus.
  • Team leadership experience motivating internal staff and managing external agencies.
  • Bachelor's degree required

We offer a competitive compensation package, including a performance bonus tied to defined KPIs and measurable goals and paid annually. Employees also receive a comprehensive benefits package designed to support their health, well-being, and long-term success. We are committed to providing a rewarding environment where strong performance is recognized and valued.
