What is the opportunity?
  • We are seeking a Chief of Staff that wants to accelerate his/her career through a high-visibility, high-responsibility opportunity.  The role is a path to managing all departmental operations of a software business.
  • This position is operational, strategic, and requires an ability to lead and manage financial health of a software company. Responsibilities will include (i) executing growth and operating initiatives, (ii) obtaining data, analyzing it, and summarizing findings (you must love data!), (iii) identifying opportunities for improvement, and owning the execution of those opportunities, (iv) cross-functional leadership, and (v) learning the intricacies of Idera’s world-class business model with a career development path to becoming a Brand General Manager.
  • The ideal candidate can demonstrate they are highly-analytical, resourceful, persistent, take initiative, and possess excellent communication skills. Examples of roles you may have held while building these skills include: investment banking, consulting, private equity, or a leadership role in business operations at a software company.
  • Familiarity with software company operations is a plus.

  • Ability to Lead: While rolling up your sleeves is required, you must demonstrate an aptitude to lead various functions and drive results. Previous management skills are a plus.
  • Familiarity with the Software/Technology Industry: While not required, this is a huge plus.
  • Qualities: Tenacious and hungry. Exceptional ability to prioritize. Quick learner with the ability to execute following instructions. Not intimidated by getting thrown into the deep end.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, Finance and/or MBA
