Role Title: Cloud Deployment Specialist

Summary

The Cloud Deployment Specialist is responsible for delivering seamless, scalable integrations that enable customers and prospects to gain deep visibility into their cloud security posture. This role develops deep expertise in onboarding and operationalizing Varonis within cloud environments, ensuring it becomes a foundational component of every client’s cloud security program.

The ideal candidate combines strong technical depth in cloud architectures (IaaS, SaaS, and related technologies) with the ability to translate best practices into repeatable deployment standards. This individual serves as a technical authority and trusted advisor to internal teams, helping drive consistent, high‑quality cloud deployments across the field.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the integration of Varonis products into customer cloud security ecosystems, ensuring reliable, secure, and scalable deployments.
  • Provide technical leadership and “air cover” to deployment teams by troubleshooting complex issues, resolving blockers, and guiding architectural decisions.
  • Develop, maintain, and continuously improve internal deployment documentation, reference architectures, and onboarding resources to support repeatable success.
  • Partner closely with Product Management and Engineering to influence new deployment features, configuration standards, and architectural best practices based on real‑world field feedback.
  • Facilitate internal feedback sessions, roundtables, and knowledge‑sharing forums to capture insights, grow subject‑matter expertise, and improve platform adoption and usability.
  • Drive field enablement on cloud technologies, security concepts, and deployment methodologies through training sessions, workshops, and technical guidance.
  • Act as a cloud deployment subject‑matter expert, helping define integration standards and an escalation point for complex customer environments.

Requirements

  • Thorough knowledge of AWS/Azure services and cloud computing concepts.
  • Thorough knowledge of Terraform, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, Linux, & Cloud Networking (VPC) experience.
  • Navigate customer CI/CD pipeline to facilitate Varonis deployment.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or PowerShell.
  • Strong understanding of networking fundamentals; including VPC, subnets, and security groups.
  • Familiarity with security best practices and compliance standards.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Preferred - AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner certification.
  • PreferredExposure to one or more of the following: Database Administration, Database Security, Agentic AI, AI Systems
