We are currently seeking a Commercial Danaher Business System Leader (DBSL), Americas responsible for the thoughtful application of the Danaher Business System (DBS) in the geographic business regions (NA) for the sales organization at Beckman Coulter Life Sciences. This role is a partner to the Regional Sales Vice President and must advocate, uphold, and innovate Beckman Coulter Life Sciences DBS capabilities at all levels and sub-functions within the Regional Sales organization, inclusive of the functional leadership partner(s).
Successful candidates will have an executive presence and the ability to drive to results as a trusted member of the regional sales leadership team. This individual will lead from the front and help sales leader prioritize the most impactful actions and countermeasures to risk with consistent data-driven insights.
This position reports to the Director, DBS Commercial Domain, and is part of the Global DBS Team. There is a preference for candidates who can work on-site at one of our 4 main locations in Indianapolis, IN, San Jose, CA, Loveland, CO, or Miami, FL. While this role is posted on-site in the US, applications from qualified candidates in other US locations will be considered equally.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
- Govern Regional Commercial Kaizen & Problem-Solving Funnels: Guide teams to prioritizes focus and ensure ongoing use of DBS Kaizen Standards, Best Practices, and Sustainment.
- Manage Commercial DBS Certification Pipeline: Builds DBS skills across the Americas Region by helping business partners prioritize DBS tool certification needs, identify candidates, and supports those candidates throughout the process.
- Teach DBS and Nurture DBS Culture: Leads DBS-related events and trainings and serves as the DBS standard-bearer for the Commercial Organization.
- Drive DBS Fundamentals into the Commercial Org: Ensures that DBS Fundamentals are adopted and used appropriately within the region, advocating the use of daily management, problem-solving (PSP) with urgency and a bias toward action.
- Oversee Deployment of Commercial DBS Tools: Assures appropriate use, proper deployment, and ongoing sustainment of new DBS tools – and drives for innovation in the creation and adaption of tools by BEC LS when possible.
The essential requirements of the job include:
- Minimum bachelor’s degree in a Science, Marketing, Business Administration, or related field; master’s degree preferred.
- 7+ years in sales, sales management, sales operations, or similar role OR equivalent time in a position dedicated to continuous improvement.
- Demonstrated use of Danaher Business System Fundamental and Commercial Tool; Certified Practitioner status in one or more tools preferred.
Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:
- Ability to travel – 35 % travel, overnight, within North America, occasional international travel.
- Must have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
- Ability to lift, move, or carry equipment up to 40lbs in support of training and workshops.
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
- Strong process orientation, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to delivering results.
- Ability to perform exceptionally in a fast-paced, performance-oriented environment with a sense of urgency.
- Experienced influencer capable of managing/leading teams at all levels of an organization, including executive level, without direct authority.

The salary range for this role is $150,000 - $185,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.
This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
