About Us

Atomic is a venture studio that builds companies from scratch. We're a team of seasoned entrepreneurs and operators who have built and scaled some of the most successful startups in the world. We specialize in creating disruptive businesses that solve real problems across industries.

Role Summary

We're looking for a Community Manager who excels at building meaningful relationships with professionals and turning connections into community. You'll work directly alongside our scientific expert (a practicing physician and industry leader), amplifying, managing, and growing her impact across a community of thousands of medical professionals nationwide.

This is a high-touch, relationship-driven role where you'll be the operational backbone that allows our scientific expert to focus on thought leadership while you manage logistics, follow-through, and community growth. You'll travel extensively to clinics, conferences, and key markets to build trust in person. We believe face-to-face relationship building is more effective and helps us stand out, so expect to be on the road regularly.

What You'll Do
  • Partner closely with our scientific lead to amplify her expertise and scale her impact across thousands of medical professionals

  • Own 1:1 relationships with clinicians, specialists, and scientific advisors by managing outreach, follow-up, and ongoing engagement

  • Coordinate educational programming: continuing education, small-group dinners, Lunch & Learns, conferences, and professional events

  • Build and maintain structured CRM tracking across engagement tiers (early advisors, highly engaged experts, broader network)

  • Travel extensively to clinics, conferences, and key markets for on-the-ground relationship building

  • Field feedback and input from community members, synthesizing insights for internal teams

  • Create programming that fosters connection among professionals themselves, not just with our brand

What You'll Bring
  • 5+ years managing large-scale professional communities (healthcare, scientific, or B2B preferred). Up to 2 years of this experience can include managing significant campus organizations or similar community-building roles during college

  • Experience partnering with senior leaders or subject-matter experts to amplify their impact

  • Personable, creative, and fun. You bring energy to every interaction and find authentic ways to keep community members engaged

  • Live on your phone. You're constantly creating chatter, finding reasons to reach out, and keeping the community active

  • Exceptional memory for personal details. You remember anniversaries, vacations, and life moments that help you connect individually with each member

  • High EQ. You can handle sensitive situations with grace and diffuse any abnormal occurrences before they escalate

  • Strong operator: you manage logistics, relationships, and follow-through simultaneously without dropping balls

  • Low-ego and credible. You're comfortable being "the person behind the expert"

  • Exceptional at both warm outreach and building rapport quickly in professional settings

  • Highly organized with ability to build structure from scratch in ambiguous, early-stage environments

  • Ideally based in (or willing to relocate to) Miami (strong preference but not a deal breaker)

  • Enthusiastic about extensive travel (30–50%+). Non-negotiable. In-person relationship building is core to how we operate.

We are focused on building a diverse and inclusive workforce. If you’re excited about this role, but do not meet 100% of the qualifications listed above, we encourage you to apply.
