About the Role

As a Compliance Specialist, you will play a crucial role in supporting the organization's compliance efforts. You will assist in the development, implementation, and monitoring of compliance programs to ensure adherence to healthcare laws, regulations, and industry standards. Responsibilities will include administrative tasks such as documentation management, maintaining compliance records, and providing general support to the compliance team.This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

What You’ll Do
  • Oversee and maintain the full lifecycle of the Advanced Practice Provider collaboration program, which includes initiating, executing and filing collaboration agreements between providers, as well as monitoring chart review completion and timely submission of provider attestations.

  • Assist in developing, updating and maintaining policies and procedures, including coordinating the review, approval, and dissemination

  • Oversee the monthly sanction screening process

  • Assist with auditing and monitoring activities to ensure adherence to healthcare laws, regulations, and internal policies

  • Provide support within the incident management system

  • Manage compliance documentation

  • Monitor compliance activities, including tracking deadlines, following up on action items, and preparing status reports.

  • Assist in preparing compliance dashboards, reports and metrics for Committee meetings

  • Participate in process improvement initiatives

  • Perform research and analysis

  • Other compliance duties as needed

What We’re Looking For
  • 2+ years of relevant experience in a healthcare or compliance-related setting.

  • Must have strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently, as well as collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills are essential.

  • Strong critical thinking and the ability to exercise discretion when handling confidential and sensitive information.

  • Proficiency with Google Workspace, Slack, and Zoom.

  • Compliance certification (CHC or CHPC) is a plus.
