The Consultant role combines business consulting, project management, systems implementation, and operational improvement responsibilities to help clients modernize program administration and achieve successful outcomes. The Consultant serves as a liaison between clients, program operations teams, business analysts, and technical resources to design, implement, and optimize technology solutions that support program enrollment, application processing, case management, provider management, financial administration, reporting, and compliance activities. This position is ideal for a candidate who enjoys solving complex business challenges, improving processes through technology, and working directly with clients to deliver innovative solutions.Duties and Responsibilities
- Serves as a trusted advisor to clients and internal stakeholders
- Supports the planning, execution, and monitoring of client engagements
- Facilitate client meetings, workshops, and requirements gathering sessions
- Analyze program operations and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Leads proposal writing teams, presentations, and solution demonstrations
- Gather, document, and validate business and functional requirements
- Translate business needs into detailed system requirements and configuration specifications
- Manage project tasks, deliverables, timelines, and action items
- Track project progress and communicate status to stakeholders and leadership
- Ensure project deliverables meet quality, schedule, and contractual requirements
- Analyze operational and program data to identify trends and opportunities
- Prepare client-facing reports and executive-level summaries
- Reviews and be the expert in the business operations for service and efficiency improvements.
- Manages small projects, staff and tasks with limited supervision while meeting and exceeding performance expectations.
- Participates in sales motions related to the practice.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or 5 years’ experience required and Master’s degree (MPA or government focused MBA) preferred
- 5+ years of relevant work experience

Compensation:
Compensation for roles at Public Consulting Group varies depending on a wide array of factors including, but not limited to, the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by applicable law, PCG provides a reasonable range of compensation for this role. In addition, PCG provides a range of benefits for this role, including medical and dental care benefits, 401k, PTO, parental leave, bereavement leave.
Range: $70,100-$85,000
