About Canals

Canals is a fully remote, profitable startup transforming the industrial supply chain ($10T industry) with AI. Our platform seamlessly integrates with the systems distributors already use, automating tedious tasks and reducing failure points in moving physical goods across the globe.

We’re a 80-person team (~50 in engineering), located across North and South America.

The Role

We are looking for a Content Marketing Manager who is equal parts strategist and creator. This person will own our organic growth and channel efforts: planning content, producing high-quality assets, and distributing them across the right channels to build awareness, trust, and inbound interest.

This is a highly cross-functional role where you’ll collaborate with founders, sales, product, and customers. You’re someone who can spot what’s happening in the market, translate it into compelling narratives, and get that content seen by the right people.

What You’ll DoContent Strategy
  • Build and own Canal's content strategy across blogs, email, social, video, and partner channels

  • Develop a consistent editorial calendar aligned with product launches, GTM campaigns, events, and SEO goals

  • Identify and prioritize opportunities for organic growth and category presence

  • Maintain a strong brand voice across all content formats

  • Analyze performance metrics to refine strategy and scale what works

Content Creation & Distribution

  • Produce high-value content: blog posts, guides, playbooks, customer stories, landing pages, social content, and simple video scripts

  • Repurpose and atomize content across channels to maximize visibility

  • Manage social media channels (LinkedIn primary) to grow our brand, community, and engagement

  • Work with designers, agencies, and freelancers as needed

  • Create distribution systems (organic social, newsletters, SEO, earned placements)

  • Collaborate with GTM to craft content that supports sales motions, including case studies and product storytelling

  • Experiment with new formats (short video, carousel posts, templates, etc.) to increase reach

What You’ll Bring
  • Typically, 4–7 years of content marketing experience in B2B SaaS or a tech startup

  • Proven track record owning both content strategy and content execution

  • Exceptional writing ability with a strong editorial voice and ability to simplify complex concepts

  • Strong understanding of organic distribution across LinkedIn, newsletters, blogs, and communities

  • Ability to turn product insights and GTM knowledge into compelling narratives

  • Familiarity with SEO best practices (not just keyword stuffing)

  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, ambiguous startup environment

Why Join Canals
  • We're profitable: stability without the chaos or pivots.

  • Real-world impact: your work improves global supply chains, saving customers time and reducing waste.

  • Strong engineering culture: we invest in quality and documentation to keep moving fast sustainably.

  • Culture of ownership: moving fast while putting quality first

  • Remote-first, flexible work environment across North and South America.

  • Stellar product-market fit with tons of customer love

  • All star team with diverse backgrounds to collaborate with and learn from
