We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Corporate Controller to lead our accounting operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the SaaS industry and a deep understanding of its unique financial metrics and revenue recognition models (ASC 606). As the Corporate Controller, you will be responsible for the accuracy and timeliness of all financial reporting, managing the accounting team, and ensuring the company’s financial health by implementing robust internal controls. You will be a key player in our financial strategy, working closely with senior leadership to drive growth and profitability.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Operations & Reporting: overseeing accounting operations, preparing & publishing timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP

SaaS Metrics: tracking, analyzing & reporting on key SaaS metrics ( e.g., annual recurring revenue ), and providing financial insights and recommendations to other members of the leadship team

Budgeting & Forecasting: leading budgeting & financial forecasting process, and working with the leadership team providing variance analysis to explain differences between actuals and projections

Compliance: ensuring compliance with local, state & federal tax regulations and reporting requirements.

Internal Controls: developing, implementing & maintaining internal controls & financial policies safeguarding the company’s assets and ensuring data integrity

Team Leadership: fostering a culture of high performance, collaboration, and continuous improvement

Cash Management: Overseeing cash flow planning and ensure the availability of funds as needed

Strategic Partnership: Collaborating with the leadership team on strategic initiatives, providing financial insights for decision-making related to pricing, fundraising, and future growth

Qualifications

Education: BBA or equivalent degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

Professional: Certified Public Accountant ( CPA )

Experience: At least 3-5 years in software industry

Technical Skills: U.S. GAAP, ASC 606, QuickBooks, financial modeling, Excel

Industry Knowledge: SaaS business models and related key performance indicators
