Overview
The Services team is a key differentiator for Mastercard, providing the cutting-edge services that help our customers grow. Centered on data-driven technologies and innovation, this team provides consulting, marketing, loyalty, and analytics to financial institutions and merchants globally. Marketing Services is the team within Services that develops and executes the marketing programs that help our clients achieve their marketing goals. The Advisors Creative Desk sits within Services and is responsible for ideating and creating engaging, forward-thinking, on-brand content solutions that connect our advertising partners, platforms, and our portfolio of brands.
Creative Manager (Copy) sets the creative direction and shapes high-quality work that delivers real business impact across the EEMEA region, through both strategic thinking and hands-on writing. The role works alongside the Creative Manager (Art) and leads a multidisciplinary creative team, collaborating across functions to ensure ideas are clearly translated across fast-moving and long-term initiatives.
The Role• Lead and manage creative work from brief to delivery, motivating teams and ensuring the highest standards of craft.• Translate strategic briefs into strong, on-brand ideas and fully developed creative campaigns.• Write and develop copy across various formats and channels, including brand narratives, scripts, digital, social, video, print, and direct-response materials.• Manage multiple clients, briefs, and deliverables in parallel, overseeing production and post-production with a high level of independence.• Collaborate across disciplines to deliver high-quality work on time and across all touchpoints.• Present ideas clearly and confidently in internal reviews and client meetings.• Proactively bring new ideas, identify opportunities, and stay ahead of emerging trends.• Give and receive feedback constructively, approaching challenges with resilience and a solutions mindset.
All About You• Minimum 10 years of copywriting experience, including senior leadership roles at the Creative Director level or above, within full-service, preferably global network agencies.• A strong portfolio showcasing brand-building and integrated work across ATL, BTL, social, and digital channels.• Proven ability to translate strategy and insights into conceptually strong, high-quality creative work.• Experience leading creative direction for integrated campaigns, with original thinking and strong problem-solving skills.• Proven people leadership, with the ability to collaborate across disciplines and mentor junior talent.• Excellent communication and presentation skills with clients and internal teams.• Strong understanding of the digital landscape, social platforms, and emerging trends.• Experience working on finance or financial services brands.• Proficiency in English; additional languages are a plus, with Arabic considered a strong advantage.• Bachelor's degree or equivalent; an advanced degree is a plus.• Ability to travel as required.
