Reports to:
CMO, working closely with the Creative Director and production team.

The opportunity

Our client is looking for an experienced Creative Strategist to own and scale paid advertising creative from concept → brief → production → testing → learning.

This is a hands-on role for someone experienced in direct-response advertising, paid social, creative testing, and performance marketing. You will develop concepts, write briefs and scripts, direct production, and manage a high-volume creative pipeline across the full funnel.

About the Organization

Our client is a Palestinian-owned, mission-led organization connecting small-scale farmers across Palestine directly with consumers worldwide. Their model is farm-first and regenerative, built around long-term partnerships with trusted growers, fairer pricing, and single-estate extra virgin olive oils.

Every bottle is fully traceable to its region and farm and reflects the people, land, and heritage behind the product. The organization aims to create a global gateway for Palestinian farmers to share their produce, culture, and sustainable practices. The client’s name and additional details will be shared with shortlisted candidates before the client interview.

What you will do

  • Own the creative pipeline from ideation through production, launch, testing, and learning.

  • Develop advertising concepts, hooks, angles, scripts, and creative approaches across the full funnel.

  • Turn concepts into clear briefs that editors, designers, creators, and videographers can execute independently.

  • Brief and manage creative production while maintaining quality, pace, and alignment with the brand.

  • Work with the Creative Director to ensure creative fits the brand voice and direction.

  • Define a clear hypothesis and performance objective for each concept.

  • Monitor creative performance and use results to inform new concepts and iterations.

  • Identify creative fatigue and develop new angles and variations to maintain performance.

  • Maintain simple, repeatable creative systems including briefs, trackers, templates, and guidelines.

  • Manage approximately 30 concepts per month, depending on production requirements.

What you bring

  • Strong experience in creative strategy for paid social or direct-response advertising, particularly Meta and TikTok.

  • Proven experience developing and scaling advertising creative at meaningful volume, with specific examples and results.

  • Strong understanding of creative performance metrics and testing, including CTR, CVR, ROAS, hook rate, and creative fatigue.

  • Strong concept, hook, script, and brief-writing skills.

  • Experience managing editors, creators, designers, videographers, or other production resources.

  • Ability to manage the full concept → brief → production → launch → learning process.

  • Strong full-funnel creative understanding across acquisition, consideration, conversion, and retargeting.

  • Strong creative judgment, communication, organization, ownership, and ability to work independently.

  • Comfortable challenging ideas while remaining responsive to the brand, Creative Director, and performance data.

  • Low-ego and collaborative, with the ability to work effectively within a founder-led organization.

Helpful but not essential

  • Experience with premium, values-driven, heritage, food, or mission-led brands.

  • Experience with DTC brands and e-commerce.

  • Experience with UGC, creator-led content, partnership ads, or influencer creative.

  • Familiarity with Palestinian culture, history, agriculture, or the mission of supporting Palestinian farmers.

How we’ll evaluate you

We are looking for someone who has actually operated a high-volume creative process, not someone who can only describe creative strategy.

  • A specific account where you increased creative output, with numbers where possible.

  • Examples of your own creative briefs, testing trackers, or operating documents.

  • Specific performance results from past creative work.

  • Evidence of managing editors, creators, designers, or production teams.

  • Examples of concepts, scripts, or campaigns you personally developed.

  • A real example of an ad that fatigued at scale and what you did next.

You will also complete a paid trial consisting of an initial batch of concepts taken through the creative process, from concept and brief through production and review.

How the engagement works

  • The engagement begins with a paid trial. Successful completion will lead into an ongoing monthly contractor engagement based on agreed creative output and delivery.

  • This is a primary, near full-time engagement, not a small side project. The role is measured primarily by creative throughput, quality, and delivery rather than fixed hours.

  • You are expected to provide your own laptop and basic equipment, maintain reliable connectivity and a secure working environment, and meet agreed deadlines and communication expectations.

  • Any client-provided specialized equipment, leave, stipend, wellbeing benefit, or other support will be stated separately as an approved exception.

  • If you contract through Apricot, planned check-ins are [month 1 and month 3 / other approved cadence] to see how the engagement is working and address any issues.
