Type: Full-Time / Director Level 

Accelerated Growth Studio (AGS) is looking for a Creative Strategist to lead, build, and scale our creative strategy department. Coming in at the director level to help us build the process, team, and own the creative strategy department of the business. We aim to have the director of creative strategy build out a team of creatives to continue to deliver a high-performancing creative strategy for our D2C clients. This role is a blend of creative direction, data-driven strategy, and team leadership, overseeing a channel that manages creative for D2C brands spending $50K–$1M per month on advertising.

As a Creative Strategist, you’ll not only analyze top-performing ad creatives across platforms like Meta, TikTok, Google, and more but also build and lead a team of creative strategists, designers, and video editors to execute high-impact performance ads. If you have a deep understanding of performance marketing, ad creative trends, and team management, this role is for you.

What You’ll DoCreative Strategy & Execution
  • Own and drive creative strategy across clients’ paid media channels (Meta, TikTok, Google, etc.).
  • Analyze ad performance data at scale using Motion boards, platform analytics, and conversion data to identify trends and guide creative direction.
  • Develop and deliver high-impact, data-driven ad briefs (approx. 10 per client bi-weekly) to ensure all creative is performance-optimized and engaging.
  • Push the boundaries of ad creative by testing and iterating new formats, hooks, and storytelling techniques.
Director level channel management - Channel / Business Unit development, Team building, Leadership, & Management
  • Build, lead, and mentor a team of creative strategists, designers, and video editors, ensuring top-tier execution and high creative output.
  • Implement scalable creative processes to manage high ad volume and rapid iteration.
  • Provide structured feedback and direction to optimize creative effectiveness and ensure alignment with brand goals and media strategies.
  • Co-manage the creative strategy business unit, looking after the Profit and Loss of the channel, expense planning, channel goals and channel growth. 
Client & Cross-Team Collaboration
  • Act as the creative thought leader in client meetings, presenting creative insights, trends, and strategies.
  • Work closely with Project Managers, Media Buyers, and Account Strategists to align creative efforts with campaign objectives and performance data.
  • Collaborate with external partners and internal stakeholders to streamline creative workflows.
Innovation & Industry Leadership
  • Stay ahead of industry trends to push creative boundaries and drive high-performing ad concepts.
  • Continuously research and implement new ad formats, hooks, and creative frameworks to improve engagement and conversions.
  • Optimize the creative development process using automation, AI-powered tools, and data insights to scale creative production efficiently.
What We’re Looking For
  • 5-7+ years of experience in creative strategy, performance marketing, or digital advertising.
  • Proven ability to develop and lead creative teams in a high-volume, high-velocity performance marketing environment.
  • Deep expertise in multi-channel paid media creative strategy (Meta, TikTok, Google, etc.).
  • Strong analytical skills—able to extract insights from Motion boards, Facebook Business Manager, Shopify, Google Analytics, and TikTok Ads.
  • Experience managing multiple D2C accounts and working with high ad spend clients.
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills—able to manage a team while being client-facing.
  • Highly organized, fast-moving, and detail-oriented—able to handle a large volume of creative work under tight deadlines.
