About Needletail

Needletail is building the AI-powered, full-stack revenue cycle management (RCM) platform for U.S. dental practices and DSOs — replacing manual, error-prone billing work with automation backed by a human-in-the-loop safety net. We're a small, fast-moving team tackling a massive, underserved market.

The Role

Be the face of Needletail for our dental practice and DSO customers — from signing through onboarding and beyond. You'll own implementation, be the go-to person for day-to-day questions, and make sure customers are genuinely winning with Needletail, not just live on it.

We're looking for someone who has been inside dental offices — who knows how a front desk, treatment coordinator, and billing team actually operate, ideally with exposure to the revenue cycle (claims, EOBs, verification, collections, denials). That's what builds instant credibility with practice owners and office managers.

This is an early, high-visibility hire with a real path to lead our U.S. customer success function as we scale.

What you'll do
  • Own implementation for new customers — configuration, training, go-live

  • Build trusted relationships with office managers, practice owners, and DSO ops leaders

  • Be the primary point of contact post-launch; resolve issues fast, flag risk early

  • Feed dental-office and RCM realities back to our product team

  • Track customer health and drive adoption, renewals, and expansion

  • Represent Needletail at customer sites and industry conferences (occasional travel)

  • Wear multiple hats — this is a generalist role on a lean team

What we're looking for
  • Experience working closely with dental practices (front office, practice management, billing/RCM, or a dental-focused vendor)

  • Real understanding of dental office operations: scheduling, patient flow, verification, billing, collections

  • Strong relationship-builder, self-directed, comfortable in a startup environment

  • Excellent written and verbal communication

  • Open to occasional travel

  • Authorized to work in the U.S.

Nice to have
  • Direct RCM experience (claims, EOBs, denials, predeterminations)

  • Familiarity with dental practice management software (CareStack, Dentrix, Eaglesoft, Open Dental)

  • Prior customer success, implementation, or account management experience in healthtech/dental-tech

What we offer
  • Competitive, market-based salary

  • Remote flexibility, anywhere in the U.S.

  • Ground-floor opportunity with a clear path to lead U.S. customer success

  • Direct influence over both customer experience and product roadmap

Compensation & Equal Opportunity

Compensation: $50K to $80K.
