Position Purpose:
The Home Depot is hiring a Cybersecurity Engineer who supports cybersecurity initiatives through automation, scripting, and tool integration. This role partners with security teams to streamline processes, develop solutions using APIs, and enhance operational efficiency through modern development practices.
Qualifications
- 1+ year of experience in cybersecurity, or related internships.
- Experience programming in Python.
- Familiarity with APIs and system integrations.
- Experience with Git, GitHub, and GitHub Copilot.
- Strong problem-solving skills and desire to learn cybersecurity technologies.
Cybersecurity Engineer utilizes business knowledge and technical experience of cybersecurity to provide a secure environment for the business.
