SkyGrid, a Boeing Company, exists to open the sky for autonomous flight. SkyGrid also acts as a key operational nexus for advanced air mobility, integrating and managing data, infrastructure, access, and traffic to support seamless and efficient air traffic services. 

The SkyGrid team is looking for an experienced Cybersecurity Manager, preferably with a background in the Aviation industry, to effectively apply civilian aerospace cybersecurity standards through the implementation of SkyGrid cybersecurity processes and policies. This individual will oversee efforts in the development, implementation, and sustainment levels of product security and resiliency, throughout the product requirements, including design, build, test, production, operations, and support lifecycle.

Performance Objectives:

  • Completion of the Plan for Security Aspects of Certification (PSecAC ) for SkyGrid’s products
  • Implementation (hands-on level of product knowledge) of SkyGrid’s cybersecurity processes and policies.
  • Successful completion of System Requirements Review (SRR) for Cybersecurity Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Develops and executes integrated plans, policies and procedures and provides input on business and technical strategies, goals, objectives.
  • Acquires resources for cybersecurity activities, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements.
  • Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners, and direct reports.
  • Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products, and processes.
  • Leads cost, schedule, and technical execution of the assigned statement of work.
  • Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures, and sets operational goals across multiple programs.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science in an Engineering, Computer Science, Math, Physics or other Technical Discipline or equivalent time working in a related role. Managerial experience is necessary
  • 7+ years of cybersecurity knowledge.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Knowledge of FAA or DoD policies and requirements related to Cybersecurity
  • Must have served as a leader in analysis of requirements and risk management

Preferred Experience:

  • Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering degree.
  • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or equivalent certification
  • Experience with design engineering.
  • Familiarity with DO-362A.
  • Working knowledge of complex systems engineering
  • Airplane Systems knowledge
  • Experience within Electrical Systems hardware and software design.
  • Familiarity with engineering processes and methods.
  • Knowledge of FAA certification.
  • Experience with system design and integration during an airplane development program.
  • Experience working with cross functional teams.
  • Demonstrated project management skills within a fast paced highly integrated environment.
  • Experience with Model Based Development tools.
