Description
The Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations (ERP) Senior Consultant is responsible for consulting on Dynamics 365 ERP engagements including: implementation, upgrade, and/or extension of existing applications. The Senior Consultant is responsible for hands-on configuration of Dynamics 365 ERP Financial modules as well as assisting clients in the implementation and support of Dynamics 365 ERP solutions. They will also be involved in improving operational metrics, business case development and performance measurement. They will provide functional knowledge and manage client relationships within context of individual role. Position requires up to 50% travel.

Location: Remote home-office

Responsibilities

  • Customer Satisfaction 
  • Facilitate the implementation and support of Dynamics 365 Finance modules including but not limited to Accounts Receivable/Payable, General Ledger, Cost Management, & Credit & Collections. 
  • Collaborate with customers to understand their business requirements and conduct gap analysis 
  • Produce Functional Design Documents when extensions are necessary 
  • Communicate effectively in all mediums and to all levels within the organization 
  • Successful implementationof practical business solutions using industry best practices as the Finance lead on a project 
  • Lead successful modeling and process area showcasesessions 
  • Ensure success of projects by coaching or mentoring junior consultants 

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years Dynamics 365 (AX) Finance experience or equivalent industry work 
  • Minimum of 2 full years staffed on Dynamics 365 (AX) implementations  
  • Certification in Dynamics 365 Finance (MB-310), or attainment of certification within first 90 days of employment. 
  • Working knowledge of industry specific best practices 
  • Strong customer relationship skills 
  • Proficient in US GAAP 
  • Excellent communication, planning and organization skills 
  • Ability to establish priorities and work independently 
  • Ability to travel up to 50% 
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience 
  • Fluent in English 

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX2009 or AX2012 a plus  
  • Knowledge of SK Global software solutions (Cust/Vend Payment Automation) 
  • Management Reporter experience 
  • Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Finance Functional Associate (MB-310 + MB-300) 
  • Understanding of IFRS standards 
  • CPA or CMA
