We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Analyst to help transform raw data into actionable business insights. In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams—including product, engineering, marketing, and operations—to design dashboards, optimize reporting pipelines, and analyze key performance metrics that drive strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

  • Data Analysis & Reporting (40%): Extract, query, and analyze complex datasets using SQL and Python/R to identify business trends, operational bottlenecks, and growth opportunities.
  • Dashboard & Visualization Design (30%): Build, maintain, and automate interactive dashboards and reports using tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Looker for executive and team-level decision-making.
  • Data Hygiene & Quality (15%): Validate data integrity across internal systems, standardizing tracking protocols and troubleshooting data discrepancies.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration (15%): Translate technical data findings into clear, business-focused insights and present recommendations to key stakeholders.

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Requirements:

  • Experience: 2+ years of professional experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a quantitative field.
  • SQL: Advanced proficiency in SQL (writing complex queries, joins, aggregations, and CTEs).
  • Visualization Tools: Hands-on experience building reports in BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or Metabase).
  • Spreadsheets: Advanced skills in Excel or Google Sheets (pivot tables, complex formulas, data modeling).
  • Communication: Ability to distill complex data findings into actionable recommendations for non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice-to-Have):

  • Proficiency in Python or R for statistical analysis and data manipulation (pandas, NumPy).
  • Experience with cloud data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, Google BigQuery, Amazon Redshift).
  • Familiarity with data transformation tools (e.g., dbt) or modern product analytics platforms (e.g., Mixpanel, Amplitude).
  • Degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Reporting Efficiency: Timely delivery of accurate recurring reports and ad-hoc analysis.
  • Data Accuracy: Maintaining high data accuracy and reliability across central dashboards.
  • Stakeholder Impact: High adoption of insights to inform product or operational decisions.
