The Data Conversion Lead oversees data migration and validation processes, leading a team to ensure accuracy and performance in ETL and data pipeline development.

KATBOTZ LLC is seeking an experienced Data Conversion Lead to manage and execute end-to-end data migration, transformation, and validation processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in SQL, Coalesce, Snowflake, and Tableau, along with proven leadership skills in managing data conversion teams and complex enterprise projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the data conversion and migration strategy, ensuring accurate, consistent, and timely delivery.
- Design and develop data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes using Coalesce and SQL.
- Build and optimize data pipelines in Snowflake, ensuring performance and scalability.
- Collaborate with business and functional teams to understand source and target data models.
- Create data mapping, transformation rules, and validation scripts to ensure data integrity.
- Oversee and guide the team in performing data profiling, cleansing, and reconciliation activities.
- Develop dashboards and reports in Tableau for data validation and post-migration analytics.
- Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues, identifying opportunities for process improvement.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams (developers, business analysts, QA) to ensure alignment and quality deliverables.
- Provide leadership, mentoring, and technical guidance to the data conversion team.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- 8+ years of experience in data migration/conversion projects.
- Hands-on expertise in SQL (advanced level) for data manipulation and validation.
- Strong experience with Coalesce, Snowflake, and Tableau.
- Proficient in data modeling, ETL design, and data warehousing concepts.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and deliver results in tight deadlines.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP).
- Knowledge of data governance, quality frameworks, and metadata management.
- Prior experience in SAP, ERP, or large-scale enterprise data migrations.
- Familiarity with Python or other scripting languages for automation.
