Data Engineer

GGWP is the first AI-powered game moderation platform dedicated to creating safer and more positive online gaming environments. Our platform utilizes machine learning and behavior models to proactively identify and mitigate disruptive player behavior, empowering moderators with automation and streamlined tools. We are a fast-paced start-up co-founded by successful entrepreneurs with the backing of key strategic investors in the video game industry. We are working with popular online video games to build more positive communities.

We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and architectures that support our AI-driven moderation platform. Your responsibilities as a Data Engineer will include:

• Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines to handle increasing data volumes and complexity
• Collaborate with analytics and product teams to improve GGWP’s models
• Deploy ML models and LLMs into production environments
• Implement processes and systems to monitor data quality
• Perform analyses to troubleshoot data-related issues and assist in their resolution

• Advanced degree in Computer Science, Data Science or a related field
• 2+ years of proven experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role
• Technical expertise with ML models
• Proficiency in Python
• Hands-on experience with SQL database design and familiarity with NoSQL databases
• Ability to think critically and creatively in a dynamic environment
• A positive attitude, and a customer-focused mindset

• A passion for gaming =)
• Experience with Cloud infrastructure (e.g. AWS) and relevant microservices (e.g. Lambdas, ECS, EMR)
• Experience with big data processing frameworks (e.g. Spark)
• Familiarity with language models and audio processing
