How You Will Make an Impact

We are seeking an experienced an AI-driven Data Engineer to lead the design, development, and optimization of our data ecosystem. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in building scalable data pipelines, managing data teams, integrating AI/ML models into data workflows.. This role requires a mix of hands-on technical expertise and leadership skills to drive AI-powered data initiatives across the organization. Candidate will collaborate with business stakeholders to translate operational needs into technical solutions while ensuring that end-to-end business processes are efficiently supported and continuously improved.

Key Responsibilities:

Data Engineering & AI Integration:

  • Design, develop, and maintain aesthetically compelling, high-performance AI driven dashboards tailored to business needs.
  • Architect, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines for structured and unstructured data.
  • Implement AI-driven data processing and optimization techniques.
  • Work with AI/ML teams to operationalize machine learning models in production environments.
  • Develop real-time and batch data processing solutions using big data technologies.
  • Ensure high availability, performance, and security of data platforms.

Team & Project Management:

  • Lead and mentor a team of data engineers, ensuring best practices in data engineering and AI integration.
  • Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand data needs.
  • Drive the adoption of AI automation in data workflows for enhanced efficiency.
  • Oversee project timelines, deliverables, and ensure alignment with business objectives.

Data Governance & Security:

  • Implement data governance, privacy, and compliance best practices
  • Monitor data quality, integrity, and lineage using AI-driven monitoring solutions.
  • Optimize data lakes, warehouses, and cloud infrastructure for cost and efficiency.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in data engineering, with at least 2+ years in a managerial role.
  • Expertise in Microsoft Fabric, including Dataflows Gen2, Data Pipelines, Data Engineering, and Data Factory.
  • Proficient in creating Power BI dashboards with strong design and aesthetic sensibilities.
  • Familiarity with Medallion architecture principles for data pipelining and transformation.
  • Strong programming skills in SQL.
  • Fabric Real-Time Intelligence is desirable for real-time data processing and analytics.
  • Proficiency in Python, SQL, Spark, or Scala for data processing.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and big data technologies (Kafka, Snowflake, Databricks, Hadoop).
  • Strong knowledge of AI/ML concepts and experience in integrating AI tools into data engineering.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD, Kubernetes, and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Docker, etc.).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Hands-on experience with MLOps and deploying machine learning models.
  • Expertise in real-time data streaming (Kafka, Flink, Kinesis).
  • Experience implementing data mesh and decentralized architectures.
  • Certifications in AWS Data Analytics, Google Data Engineer or similar.
