Technical Project Manager – Data

The Role
As a Technical Project Manager specializing in data, you will lead the delivery of data-driven transformation initiatives for our clients. You will be responsible for planning, executing, and governing projects that enable effective data management, integration, and analytics. Working across business and technology teams, you will ensure alignment with strategic objectives while delivering high-quality outcomes on time and within scope.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead the development and execution of data strategies and roadmaps, managing dependencies, risks, and delivery timelines
  • Translate technical deliverables into clear, actionable insights for business and technology stakeholders
  • Oversee data lifecycle activities including collection, validation, cleansing, and optimization
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to align data processes with business and technical requirements
  • Manage stakeholder communications and ensure adherence to data quality, governance, and security standards

What We’re Looking For

  • 6+ years of experience in project management with a focus on data initiatives
  • Strong experience in data strategy, governance, and large-scale delivery
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and engage senior stakeholders
  • Experience with data analytics, integration, and transformation tools and techniques
  • Strong understanding of data modeling, integration technologies, and data formats (e.g., JSON, XML)

  • Experience with cloud platforms and private PaaS solutions
  • Experience managing data migration and conversion initiatives
  • Familiarity with REST, SOAP, and related web service protocols
  • Previous experience in a consulting or professional services environment
  • Exposure to financial services or energy industry projects
