As a SMAI Intelligence Scheduling and Simulation, Manager, at Micron Technology, Inc., you will be part of Micron's SMAI Team and will lead a team comprised of world class talent. You and your team of highly capable Engineers will be responsible for the end to end creation of Micron's next generation, advanced, factory scheduling and automation systems that will be deployed throughout the global network of manufacturing sites.
Your team will be located in Taiwan work closely with diverse teams located in different regions throughout the world, expanding opportunities for creative idea generation. You will collaborate with some of the world's best team members to define leading-edge ways to improve manufacturing capability, establish global business process, and delivery industry benchmark methods across global manufacturing sites.
Primary Responsibilities
  • Design and develop advanced factory scheduling and simulation solutions that enable the achievement of industry leading manufacturing capability
  • Develop high quality data analytics and applications that give insights and drive actions to enable management and manufacturing teams to make informed decisions.
  • Manage development priority based on business needs and mission
  • Drive global collaboration and alignment of Operations Improvement practices and development activities
  • Lead a team and drive innovation by exploring, identifying and adopting the latest industry's best practices

Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in related field or equivalent professional experience
  • 5+ years of semiconductor fab experience, strong expertise in scheduling, simulation, operations research, optimization algorithms, AI, and data analytics and a degree in IE/OR/CS/DS or equivalent quantitative field.. Proven people leadership, global collaboration capability, worldwide business processes development & management and ability to drive end-to-end smart manufacturing solutions.
  • Fluent in English both verbal and written.
