Job Title/High-Level Position Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Demand Planner to support forecasting and planning for our lower extremity product portfolio. This role will play a key part in driving forecast accuracy, supporting S&OP/SIOP processes, and partnering cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Supply Planning.  

Key Responsibilities:  

  • Develop and maintain statistical and consensus demand forecasts for lower extremity product lines 

  • Analyze historical data, trends, seasonality, and market intelligence to improve forecast accuracy 

  • Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to incorporate business insights and market dynamics into the forecast 

  • Participate in SIOP processes, including demand review and reconciliation meetings 

  • Monitor forecast performance using key metrics (e.g., MAPE, bias) and identify opportunities for improvement 

  • Support scenario planning and risk/opportunity analysis 

  • Maintain data integrity within planning systems and ensure alignment across functions 

  • Communicate forecast assumptions, risks, and changes to stakeholders 

Minimum Basic Qualifications: 

  • 3–4 years of experience in demand planning, forecasting, or related supply chain planning roles 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, or a related field 

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail 

  • Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, lookups, data analysis) 

  • Experience working with forecasting tools or ERP systems 

 

Travel Requirements:  

  • Less than 10%  

Desired Characteristics: 

  • Experience with Kinaxis (RapidResponse/Maestro) or similar advanced planning systems 

  • Familiarity with statistical forecasting methods (e.g., ARIMA, exponential smoothing) 

  • Understanding of S&OP/SIOP processes 

  • Proficiency in SQL or comparable data querying tools
