About Port:

At Port.io, we are building an open and flexible Agentic SDLC Platform for modern engineering organizations. Following our recent $100M Series C funding round, we are in a phase of rapid hypergrowth with strong enterprise momentum.

We act as the central nervous system for engineering, enabling platform teams to unify their stack and expose it as a governed layer through golden paths for developers and AI agents.

By combining rich engineering context, workflows, and actions, we help organizations transition from manual processes to autonomous, AI-assisted engineering workflows while maintaining control and accountability.

As a product-led company, we believe in building world-class platforms that fundamentally shape how modern engineering organizations operate.

About the Role:

We are looking for a Developer Relations professional to be the bridge between Port and our developer community. This role focuses on building strong connections with developers, creating technical content, managing communities, and representing the Port brand in a practical, grounded, and authentic way. You’ll work closely with product teams and leadership to drive adoption, engagement, and thought leadership in the developer ecosystem.

Responsibilities:

  • Build and nurture relationships with developer communities across social media, events, meetups, and forums.
  • Create technical content, tutorials, landing pages, and guides that highlight product value and address developer needs.
  • Represent Port in conferences, webinars, and networking events, to grow awareness and engagement.
  • Identify and track trends in developer behavior, product adoption, and competitor activity to inform strategy.
  • Develop and execute community engagement programs and initiatives to build a vibrant, active ecosystem.
  • Collaborate with product, marketing, and leadership teams to translate technical insights into actionable strategies.
  • Define success metrics and KPIs for community impact, including reach, engagement, mentions, and adoption.
  • Act as a technical storyteller, showcasing the product in a top-of-funnel, high-level yet practical way.
  • 5+ years of experience in Developer Relations.
  • Strong technical background with the ability to understand and communicate complex engineering concepts.
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills; comfortable engaging with developers at all levels.
  • Proven ability to create compelling technical content and deliver presentations to developer audiences.
  • Experience organizing and participating in events, meetups, and community initiatives.
  • Strong strategic thinking with the ability to define goals and measure outcomes effectively.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with product, marketing, and executive teams.
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken) and a service-oriented, practical approach to representing the company.
