We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer whose primary focus will be cloud infrastructure, systems engineering, identity, and operational reliability.
This role is broader than a traditional CI/CD or application-platform position. The successful candidate will take ownership of core infrastructure and systems responsibilities while applying DevOps practices - automation, infrastructure as code, monitoring, documentation, and self-service, to make the environment more scalable.

What you’ll do
Cloud and systems infrastructure

  • Administer and support Microsoft Azure, AWS, Windows Server, Active Directory, Entra ID, VMware, and related infrastructure.
  • Manage infrastructure across compute, storage, networking, certificates, backups, monitoring, and lifecycle operations.
  • Troubleshoot complex infrastructure, identity, access, and service issues and provide senior escalation support.
  • Support cloud migration, infrastructure modernization, and hybrid-cloud operations.

Identity and operational security

  • Manage identity and access, including groups, privileged access, service accounts, application registrations, and access reviews.
  • Support secure administration of Active Directory, Entra ID, Azure, AWS, and other enterprise platforms.
  • Partner with Security, IAM, Audit, and People teams on access controls, compliance activities, andremediation work.

Automation and DevOps practices

  • Automate repetitive infrastructure, access, and operational tasks using PowerShell, Python, Terraform, or similar tools.
  • Apply infrastructure-as-code and repeatable configuration practices where practical.
  • Improve provisioning, access lifecycle management, monitoring, reporting, and audit processes.
  • Support CI/CD, GitHub, developer environments, and shared platform services as needed.
  • Help move the team from manual, ticket-driven work toward reliable and repeatable self-service capabilities.

Operational ownership

  • Maintain clear documentation, system ownership records, runbooks, and recovery procedures.
  • Lead or participate in infrastructure changes from planning through implementation and validation.
  • Participate in systems/infrastructure on-call and escalation activities.
  • Work closely with Systems, DevOps, Security, Service Desk, and application teams.
  • Share knowledge and reduce dependency on individual subject-matter experts.

What you’ll bring

  • Strong experience in systems engineering, cloud infrastructure, DevOps, SRE, or IT operations.
  • Hands-on experience with Azure, Active Directory/Entra ID, Windows Server, and enterprise infrastructure.
  • Working knowledge of AWS and VMware or another enterprise virtualization platform.
  • Experience with identity, access management, service accounts, and privileged administration.
  • Practical scripting or automation experience, especially with PowerShell.
  • Familiarity with Terraform, infrastructure as code, configuration management, or CI/CD tools.
  • Strong troubleshooting, documentation, communication, and incident-management skills.
  • A security-minded approach to access, change management, and production operations.

Preferred experience

  • Azure DevBox, Azure Virtual Desktop, or comparable developer-workstation platforms.
  • GitHub administration, GitHub Actions, TeamCity, or other CI/CD platforms.
  • Kubernetes or containerized workloads.
  • SailPoint or comparable identity-governance platforms.
  • Experience supporting SOX, SOC 2, ISO 27001, or similar audit controls.•
  • Microsoft, Azure, AWS, VMware, Terraform, or security certifications.

Success in this role

  • Core systems, identity services, and cloud infrastructure remain reliable, secure, and well documented.
  • Repetitive infrastructure and access work is progressively automated.
  • Infrastructure changes become more repeatable, observable, and auditable.
  • Systems knowledge is shared across the team through documentation and mentoring.
  •  The role provides dependable systems coverage while contributing to the future DevOps and cloud-platform direction.
