As a Product Delivery Manager, Vice President at JPMorganChase within Digital Consumer Channels in Consumer & Community Banking, you will strengthen how we deliver change across the roadmap by promoting disciplined intake, dependency management, release readiness, and delivery transparency across product and technology partners. You will bring structure to ambiguity, improve operational rigor in backlog and roadmap execution, and ensure delivery activity aligns to the firm’s risk, controls, compliance, and regulatory expectations. You will lead through influence in a matrixed environment and manage a small team to improve predictability, reduce delivery surprises, and increase transparency for stakeholders.
Job Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end delivery execution across intake, dependency management, release readiness, and operationalization to improve throughput, predictability, and transparency.
- Drive disciplined change intake-to-backlog flow, ensuring requests are clearly defined, prioritized, and ready for delivery decision-making with key partners.
- Manage cross-functional timelines and dependencies, proactively identifying blockers, escalating risks, and aligning on mitigation plans to protect delivery outcomes.
- Partner with release and technology teams to support deployment readiness, coordinated delivery milestones, and clear communication across stakeholders.
- Establish and maintain high-quality delivery reporting, ensuring accurate status, progress visibility, and clear narratives for product, technology, and senior stakeholders.
- Ensure delivery processes and artifacts align with risk, controls, compliance, and regulatory expectations, and lead required change management activities across partners.
- Coach and develop team members, setting clear expectations, strengthening operational discipline, and reinforcing a culture of continuous improvement.
- Build strong relationships across product, design, engineering, and operations to remove friction, clarify ownership, and improve decision velocity.
- Maintain strong record hygiene and audit-ready documentation in Jira and portfolio planning tools such as Jira Align, supporting reliable traceability and transparency.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- Formal training or certification on "product" engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience
- Demonstrated experience leading and developing direct reports in a delivery, product operations, or related environment
- Proven ability to lead delivery coordination across a matrixed organization, influencing without authority to drive outcomes
- Experience leading change readiness and delivery governance activities in environments with strong risk, controls, and compliance expectations
- Experience partnering on release management and deployment planning for web and mobile platforms
- Proficiency in requirements analysis, including clarifying scope, impacts, benefits, and priority to enable effective decision-making
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including executive-ready status reporting and stakeholder presentations
- Proficiency with Jira and portfolio planning tools such as Jira Align, including reporting, workflow management, and record hygiene
- Working knowledge of Agile delivery methods and continuous improvement practices to improve delivery effectiveness and transparency
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- Experience in banking or financial services, including working within regulated environments
- Knowledge of the product development life cycle, including design practices and data analytics collaboration
- Familiarity with large-scale digital platforms and application programming interfaces (APIs)
- Experience refining complex business needs into clear functional stories and delivery plans across cross-functional teams
- Experience building scalable operating routines (intake, prioritization, dependency management, and release readiness) across multiple product areas
