Job Description:

Duties: Perform semiconductor engineering design, development, and testing for firm products and devices in conjunction with product development for the electronic communications industry. Implement new engineering assignments including engineering and designing chip layout circuits, circuit checking, documenting specifications, and modifying and evaluating semiconductor devices and components. Contribute to technical projects within the areas of testing methods, device specification, and yield problems; perform redesign of devices, components, or integrated circuitry for hardware and other systems; and will review product requirements and logic diagrams for device definition. Ensure compliance with design specifications, codes, and stated requirements. Operate computer-assisted engineering software tools and configure the same to perform design engineering tasks and implement test programs and procedures. Confer with customers and other departments on design status, processing, testing and technical issues, and failure analysis. Monitor production of products and devices to ensure conformance to design specifications.

Qualifications:

Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or Computer Engineering (with related variants such as VLSI or Physics), foreign equivalent or related field.

One (1) year of experience in job offered, Project Engineer or related occupation.

Required skills:

Position requires one (1) year of experience in:

1.         Physical Design Verification (DRC );

2.         RTL to GDS;

3.         SoC Physical Design flow;

4.         Static Timing Analysis (STA);

5.         optimizing clock quality of results (QoR);

6.         Place-and-route (PnR) flow; and

7.         Scripting languages such as Python, TCL and Perl.

Salary: $110656 per year.
