Job Description:

FormFactor is seeking a Digital Quality & Analytics Engineer to help build the digital foundation for the next generation of Quality systems and processes. This role is responsible for deploying, optimizing, and continuously improving FormFactor's electronic Quality Management System (eQMS) while developing analytics, reporting, automation, and digital solutions that improve business performance and quality system effectiveness.

Working cross-functionally with Quality, Engineering, Operations, Service, Supply Chain, and IT, this individual will transform manual and disconnected quality processes into scalable digital workflows that improve visibility, reduce administrative burden, strengthen compliance, and enable data-driven decision making. The role serves as a key contributor to FormFactor's Digital Quality strategy by establishing systems, data structures, reporting frameworks, and automation capabilities that support future predictive quality and AI-enabled decision support initiatives.

This position applies advanced professional knowledge to solve moderately complex problems, drive process improvements, and lead initiatives with significant cross-functional impact.

Key Responsibilities:

eQMS Deployment & Administration

  • Support deployment, adoption, administration, and continuous improvement of FormFactor's eQMS platform.

  • Configure, test, validate, and maintain digital quality workflows that improve process visibility, compliance, and execution effectiveness.

  • Partner with business process owners to digitize, standardize, and optimize quality processes across multiple sites and functions.

  • Lead or support user acceptance testing (UAT), system validation, training, change management, and implementation activities.

  • Develop and maintain workflow configurations, forms, notifications, dashboards, and business rules.

  • Support system governance activities including user access management, data integrity, configuration control, and workflow enhancements.

  • Measure and drive user adoption and process compliance across the organization.

  • Identify opportunities to streamline quality processes through digital transformation initiatives.

Primary eQMS Process Areas:

  • Change Control Management

  • Problem Reporting & Resolution (CAPA, 8D, RCA)

  • Audit Management

  • Project Management

Quality Analytics & Reporting

  • Develop and maintain dashboards, scorecards, KPI reporting, and business intelligence solutions.

  • Monitor and analyze Quality Management System performance and effectiveness.

  • Design reporting solutions that provide actionable insights for management and operational teams.

  • Support performance reporting related to: First-Time Right (FTR), CAPA effectiveness, Audit performance and closure rates, Change Control cycle times, Quality system health metrics, Management Review metrics, Corrective action performance, and Customer quality indicators.

  • Partner with stakeholders to define leading and lagging performance indicators.

  • Support development of data models, reporting structures, and visualization tools utilizing Power BI and related analytics platforms.

  • Analyze trends and identify opportunities for process improvement and risk reduction.

Digital Innovation, Automation & AI Enablement

  • Identify opportunities to leverage analytics, automation, AI, and emerging technologies to improve quality system effectiveness and reduce manual effort.

  • Develop automated workflows and digital solutions that improve productivity, visibility, and decision-making.

  • Partner with Quality, Operations, Engineering, and IT teams to implement digital process improvements.

  • Support implementation of AI-enabled productivity and business intelligence tools.

  • Develop trend analysis methodologies and early-warning indicators for quality risks and process performance issues.

  • Assist in establishing scalable data structures and governance practices that support future predictive quality capabilities.

  • Support continuous improvement initiatives through automation, data analysis, and process optimization.

Quality Systems & Compliance Support

  • Support Quality Systems governance activities through reporting, workflow administration, and process monitoring.

  • Assist with internal, customer, and external audit preparation and response activities.

  • Support Management Review reporting, metric analysis, and performance assessments.

  • Maintain data integrity and consistency within digital quality systems.

  • Help ensure digital quality processes align with applicable industry standards, customer requirements, and company policies.

  • Participate in corrective and preventive action activities related to quality system performance.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner closely with Quality Systems, Manufacturing Quality, Customer Quality, Engineering, Operations, Service, Supply Chain, and IT teams.

  • Facilitate alignment between business requirements and digital quality solutions.

  • Provide user training, system support, and process guidance related to digital quality tools.

  • Promote adoption of standardized workflows, best practices, and data-driven decision-making.

  • Lead and participate in cross-functional improvement initiatives that enhance operational efficiency and quality performance.
