What You'll Do
- Lead, coach, and compose a distributed team of 10-12 Silicon FAEs across multiple regions and time zones.
- Own global execution quality for silicon customer support and evaluation motions.
- Operationalize an evaluation/deployment process.
- Establish staffing models, regional coverage, skill mapping, and on-call/critical issue frameworks.
- Define and track important metrics: Day-0 pass rate, time-to-first-result, MTTR/MTTI, critical issue quality, customer progression to production.
- Partner with Sales leadership, Account teams, Program Managers, and Engineering leaders on account strategy and delivery risks.
- Ensure predictable critical issue into L2/L3 with high-quality evidence and closure in the field Ines.
- Create technical enablement programs and career ladders for Silicon FAEs.
- Represent the field voice in roadmap, errata, tooling, and support-content priorities.
- Lead executive-level customer engagements for lighthouse/high-risk accounts.
Required Experience
- 12+ years in semiconductor/customer engineering/FAE roles, including 5+ years leading senior technical field teams.
- Shown leadership of globally distributed customer-facing engineering teams.
- Strong background in server silicon/platform bring-up, deployment, and support models.
- Direct experience with server and network infrastructure ecosystem players (hyperscalers, OEM/ODM, cloud, networking).
- Demonstrated success operating cross-functionally with sales, product, and engineering at executive and working levels.
- Strong operational difficulty in RACI, lifecycle gates, incident management, and critical issue governance.
- BS in EE/CE/CS (MS preferred).
Preferred Skills and Experience
- Experience creating new FAE organizations during business model transitions (IP/CSS to silicon lifecycle ownership).
- Familiarity with Arm-based server ecosystems and Cloud AI infrastructure.
- Experience handling multilingual, multi-cultural teams across US/EU/China/Japan.
- Prioritize partner and customers needs and achieve great solutions
