Job Description

Objective / Purpose:


  • Accountable for functional/business ownership of clinical systems used in trial delivery (EDC, Data Review Tools etc.).
  • Partners with Data, Digital & Technology partners to drive roadmap prioritization and delivery for successful system operationalization.
  • Serves as Business System Owner (BSO) for clinical systems used in trial delivery.

Accountabilities:

                                                                                                                                                                                                  

·       Builds and maintains strong functional (GDO) and cross-functional (R&D, Enterprise) stakeholder relationships for an understanding of key challenges and business priorities

  • Maintains strong collaboration with R&D DD&T(digital, data, technology) teams for roadmap development and rollout.

·       Partners with R&D DD&T leadership in the development and delivery of clinical system roadmap.

·       Serves as BSO (Business System Owner) for clinical systems to support Software Development Lifecycle.

  • Responsible for inspection readiness of clinical systems and representation of system expertise for inspection-facing activities. 

·       Represents clinical systems in inspection readiness and GCP inspections.

·       Supports change management for clinical systems and roadmap evangelism.
  • Supports the Sr. Director, Trial Delivery Systems Strategy in leading cross-functional efforts to build out processes and infrastructure necessary to support Takeda ways of working.
  • Stays informed on vendor and innovation landscape for clinical systems.
  • Responsible for annual budget planning, forecasting and budget management for clinical systems; oversight of system investment budget for build and run/support activities.
  • Defines and tracks value realization for system investments across clinical systems.
  • Serves as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) and roadmap evangelist for clinical systems.

Massachusetts - Virtual

U.S. Base Salary Range:

$177,000.00 - $278,080.00

The estimated salary range reflects an anticipated range for this position. The actual base salary offered may depend on a variety of factors, including the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. The actual base salary offered will be in accordance with state or local minimum wage requirements for the job location.
