About the Role:

CrowdStrike is seeking a well-versed Director of Sales Development to oversee, lead, coach and mentor our accomplished SDR organization. The Global SDR organization is facing excessive growth and we’re seeking a focused, results-oriented Director who is ready to realize this! The role will report directly into the Sr Director, Global Sales Development.

This role is hybrid and will require a few days a week in the office located in either Austin, TX or Sunnyvale, CA.

What You'll Do:

  • Assume a visible role to position the global SDR organization for success

  • Define and execute the strategy for SDR across the US

  • Manage relationships and communication with Senior Leadership Teams to ensure the SDR organization is supported and equipped to achieve goals (i.e. marketing, operations, campaigns, Sales Ops etc.)

  • Provide Director level leadership to front line SDR Managers and Senior Managers and enable the SDR Leadership Teams to exceed goals through mentorship and coaching

  • Drive the adoption of all appropriate initiatives to improve sales excellence and build discipline and cadence across the team to optimize execution in all aspects of the internal sales process.

  • Coach managers and reps on sales strategies, technique, and best practice.

  • Assume ownership of the people strategy, including talent and succession as well as steering and overseeing the recruitment, onboarding and ramping of top sales talent.

  • Some travel required.

What You'll Need:

  • 2nd line management experience

  • Proven success in leading teams, including managing a large sales development department, guiding sales development managers, and helping the SDR team meet their targets.

  • Able to demonstrate experience of front-line sales management with history of meeting/exceeding performance expectations.

  • Strong track record of building a high-performance sales culture in a large team.

  • The ability to drive the adoption and use of required tools and processes is an important part of the role.

  • You will also have experience leading and managing change and transformation processes.

  • Experience with Salesforce reporting and BI tools like Tableau

  • Experience hiring and working in a rapidly growing environment

  • Understands the cybersecurity landscape

  • Fast learner, motivated, enthusiastic

  • Project manager experience is a plus

CrowdStrike, Inc. is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. Placement within the pay range is dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications, job level, supervisory status, and location. The base salary range for this position for all U.S. candidates is $120,000 - $165,000 per year, with eligibility for commissions, equity grants and a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance, 401k and paid time off.
