THE ROLE

The Director, CRM Insights will redefine how Legends thinks about, builds, and uses its CRM capability — shifting the organization from a traditional, manually-entered front-end platform to an embedded, insights-driven data layer that connects seamlessly across the entirety of Legends' data and application ecosystem. This role owns both the current-state administration of the Legends corporate CRM (Salesforce.com) and the strategy to evolve beyond it: designing and leading the migration away from a tool people log into and enter data by hand, toward a connected data solution that surfaces revenue and pipeline insights automatically, wherever teams already work.
A successful candidate will be comfortable operating in both worlds at once — running day-to-day CRM administration and adoption across the executive ranks today, while architecting and executing the roadmap to a more modern, automated, AI-enabled data ecosystem tomorrow. This role will also set the bar for the 3rd party applications, AI tools, and integration technologies crucial for driving Legends' sales and business development efforts toward best-in-class execution.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Lead the strategy, roadmap, and execution for evolving Legends' CRM from a standalone, manually-entered front-end platform into an embedded data solution that ties seamlessly into the entirety of Legends' data and application ecosystem.
  • Define and champion the long-term vision for CRM insights at Legends, including the technical and organizational path to reduce reliance on manual, single-platform data entry in favor of automated, system-to-system data flow.
  • Partner with Technology, Insights and Data Engineering to architect and implement the integrations, data pipelines, and APIs — including Model Context Protocol (MCP) connections — that link CRM data to Legends' broader systems and AI tools.
  • Evaluate, pilot, and deploy AI-based tools and light coding/scripting (e.g., Python, JavaScript, or similar) to automate reporting, improve data quality, and build internal prototypes and workflow automations.
  • Oversee the day-to-day management of the Salesforce.com platform during the transition period, including data integrity, user management, and system customization.
  • Lead the development and execution of the company's current-state CRM strategy, including the integration of Salesforce.com with other systems and processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvement and implement solutions using Salesforce.com and successor data solutions.
  • Develop and maintain reporting and analytics — increasingly AI-assisted — to track and measure the effectiveness of CRM and data initiatives.
  • Train and support users on the Salesforce.com platform and any successor tools, including the development of documentation and training materials.
  • Stay current on the latest AI, automation, and Salesforce.com features and best practices, and provide recommendations for improvement and innovation.
  • Oversee the administration and development of the Legends Corporate CRM, supporting executive stakeholder adoption and utilization as well as ongoing support needs.
  • Design reporting, object layouts, and process flows that further enhance the reliability of the platform for Legends.
  • Support client-level buildout and utilization of best practices for Salesforce and related tools.
  • Lead work and conversations with 3rd party vendors supporting CRM and data ecosystem projects across the org where relevant.

QUALIFICATIONS

Experience

  • A minimum of 7 years of experience with Salesforce.com, including experience as a CRM administrator, developer, or manager.
  • Demonstrated experience leading data or systems migration/modernization initiatives, ideally moving an organization from a manual, single-platform tool toward an integrated, automated data ecosystem.
  • Salesforce.com certifications (e.g., Administrator, Platform App Builder, etc.) are a plus.

Core Skills

  • Hands-on experience with AI-based tools and some coding or scripting ability (e.g., Python, JavaScript, or similar) to build automations, integrations, or prototypes.
  • Familiarity with Model Context Protocol (MCP) or similar frameworks for connecting AI tools and agents to data and systems.
  • Specific experience with AI-coding platforms such as Claude Code or Codex is a plus.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels, including executive leadership.

WHAT WE VALUE

  • A strategic mindset paired with hands-on comfort in the details — equally at home setting the CRM roadmap and troubleshooting a workflow rule.
  • Curiosity about AI-based tools and how they can replace manual data entry with automated, embedded insights.
  • Ability to build trust with executive stakeholders while driving meaningful change to how the organization works day to day.
  • A builder's instinct for connecting systems and data sources rather than defaulting to another standalone platform.
