Alkami is hiring a Director of Enablement to build and lead the enablement infrastructure for a modern revenue organization, reporting to the VP of Revenue Operations. This leader will own the enablement ecosystem at Alkami including programs, processes, content, training rhythms, and operating mechanisms so customer-facing teams can execute consistently, improve productivity, and drive measurable revenue impact.
This role will own enablement across sales, frontline leaders, and cross-functional go-to-market readiness, with a strong mandate to build, execute, and continuously improve the underlying program. The Director of Enablement will translate Alkami’s sales methodology and process into a durable enablement system including methodology, onboarding, product training, manager coaching, stage discipline, competitive readiness, and repeatable field execution so teams are aligned on how Alkami wins in market.
The ideal candidate brings strong fintech fluency, creative problem-solving, and a methodical operating style. They know how to turn ambiguity into structure, simplify complex motions, and build programs that improve seller confidence, leadership consistency, and business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

Own Alkami’s Enablement Strategy

  • Build and lead the enablement strategy for Alkami’s revenue organization, aligned to company growth priorities, sales motions, product evolution, and the infrastructure required to scale enablement effectively.

  • Own the enablement ecosystem at Alkami, including program design, training architecture, content strategy, enablement cadences, and the mechanisms required to make the system work in practice.

  • Define how Alkami’s sales methodology and process shows up in onboarding, training, pipeline inspection, forecast discipline, deal execution, and manager coaching.

  • Serve as a trusted partner to Revenue Operations and senior revenue leaders to identify performance gaps and prioritize the highest-impact enablement investments.

  • Operate as a player-coach who can both design the program and personally drive execution where needed.

Operationalize Sales Methodology and Process

  • Embed Alkami’s sales stages, MEDDPICC expectations, mutual action planning, business case development, economic buyer alignment, and paper process discipline into the field operating model.

  • Build clear role-based playbooks, talk tracks, stage exit criteria, inspection frameworks, and readiness assets that help teams execute with consistency.

  • Improve clarity around forecast categories, opportunity progression, and qualification so teams understand not just what to do, but how to know when a deal is truly advancing.

Drive Field Readiness and Productivity

  • Design and run onboarding and continuous learning programs that reduce ramp time and increase field effectiveness.

  • Close Alkami’s current product training gap by building a stronger product enablement motion in partnership with Product and Product Marketing.

  • Lead enablement for major launches, new motions, packaging changes, and strategic initiatives so teams are ready with messaging, positioning, competitive guidance, and execution support.

  • Partner closely with Product, Product Marketing, Marketing, and Revenue Operations to turn complex product, market, and competitive information into simple, actionable guidance for sellers and leaders.

Build AI Enablement Capabilities

  • Partner across Revenue Operations, Product, Product Marketing, and internal stakeholders to help shape and operationalize AI enablement tools being built for Alkami employees.

  • Ensure employees can use AI tools to self-enable more effectively, including finding the right content, getting answers faster, preparing for customer conversations, and communicating with greater consistency and quality.

  • Identify and drive AI-enabled workflows that make work more efficient across enablement and go-to-market teams, including content creation, training reinforcement, knowledge discovery, coaching support, and day-to-day execution.

  • Translate new AI capabilities into practical adoption programs, usage guidance, and repeatable best practices so teams understand not just what tools exist, but how to use them effectively in their jobs.

  • Bring demonstrable experience using AI in real business settings and help Alkami build a culture of thoughtful, practical AI adoption across the revenue organization.

Build Scalable Systems and Measurement

  • Create the processes, assets, and measurement frameworks needed to scale enablement with rigor and accountability.

  • Establish KPIs for enablement effectiveness, including ramp time, productivity, win rates, adoption, stage conversion, and forecast quality.

  • Ensure enablement is tightly connected to systems and tools such as Salesforce, LMS/content systems, and other workflow platforms that support modern selling.

Lead a High-Impact Team
  • Manage and develop one strong enablement team member while building the foundation for a scalable function over time.

  • Set a high bar for quality, clarity, accountability, and business impact across the enablement organization.

Qualifications:

  •  8+ years of experience in enablement, revenue operations, sales operations, product marketing, or related go-to-market roles, with meaningful experience in fintech, SaaS, or digital banking.

  • Strong understanding of fintech and digital banking environments, including how complex buying processes, integrations, compliance considerations, and value articulation shape the sales cycle.

  • Proven ability to design, build, and own scalable enablement programs and infrastructure that drive measurable business outcomes rather than simply producing content.

  • Experience building product enablement in close partnership with Product and Product Marketing, including training for new products, product updates, competitive positioning, and launch readiness.

  • Experience supporting cross-functional go-to-market teams and influencing senior stakeholders across Revenue, Product, Marketing, and Operations.

  • Strong communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to distill complex ideas into clear, actionable guidance.

  • Demonstrable proficiency with AI tools and workflows, including clear examples of how AI has been used to improve enablement, training, content creation, productivity, or go-to-market execution.

  • A creative but methodical operator who can build structure, prioritize well, and execute with consistency in a fast-moving environment.

  • Comfort operating as a player-coach in a lean environment, balancing hands-on execution with team leadership and program ownership.

  • Experience using data, systems, and operational metrics to improve program effectiveness and guide decision-making.

  • Prior people leadership experience, including coaching and developing high-performing team members.
