Director, Global Cybersecurity GTM Programs & Strategy

We have an opportunity for a Director, Global Cybersecurity GTM Programs & Strategy to join our WW Security Sales organization in the United States (Remote/Flexible), reporting to the VP, Global Security Practice Leader. In this pivotal role, you will scale Infoblox’s global Threat Defense and adjacent Axur/Kentik business by architecting and continuously refining the GTM strategy into one common framework and language, then driving its adoption across the entire global field organization through cadence, content, and coaching rather than formal management authority. Collaborating closely with Product, Product Marketing, Sales Enablement, Sales Engineering, and regional sales leadership, you will turn field data into executive-ready insight, personally engage CISOs and security leaders in strategic accounts, and serve as the cross-functional glue that operationalizes our preemptive, DNS-centric security vision. You will also leverage Infoblox IQ for Threat Defense and other AI-enabled tools to prioritize opportunities, synthesize insights, and scale repeatable execution.

Be a Contributor — What You’ll Do

  • Own and evolve the global Threat Defense GTM strategy as one consistent framework across Discovery, Proposal, DNS Audit, Security Assessment, and BVA
  • Develop field-ready playbooks, templates, and inspection checklists with competitive proof points vs. Zscaler, Palo Alto Networks, and Cisco Umbrella
  • Participate in the global operating cadence (QBRs, 5-Whys, data-hygiene governance) that engages PSS, SEs, AEs, and regional leaders across AMS, EMEA, and APJ without direct authority
  • Build and maintain engagement and win-rate dashboards that link Workshop and Assessment activity to deal size, pipeline, and close rates, using AI-assisted analytics to surface leading indicators
  • Partner with Product Marketing, Product Management, and Sales Enablement to shape and quality-bar enablement content
  • Use AI-powered content and knowledge assistants (Infoblox IQ, Copilot/Glean-style tools) to accelerate drafting of workshops, assessments, BVA narratives, and competitive comparisons
  • Engage and collaborate with reseller, distributor, and technology-alliance partners (Optiv, Exclusive Networks, Presidio, TD SYNNEX, Axur, Kentik) to source new logos and expand Threat Defense adoption
  • Represent Infoblox at flagship events (RSAC, Black Hat, CISO dinners/breakfasts) as a thought leader on preemptive, DNS-driven security

Be Prepared — What You Bring

  • 12+ years in cybersecurity, networking, or cloud security across pre-sales, technical GTM, sales engineering, product, or consulting, including 5+ years at director-level driving GTM strategy
  • Deep, credible SME expertise in DNS security / Threat Defense across on-prem, cloud, and edge, including Protective DNS and DNS Detection & Response
  • Fluency in the competitive security landscape (Zscaler, Palo Alto Networks, Cisco Umbrella) and a track record of building technical proof points and head-to-head win strategies
  • Demonstrated success operationalizing GTM programs, playbooks, workshops, assessments, POCs, and BVAs at scale across distributed field organizations without direct authority
  • Strong analytical skills with Salesforce and modern revenue tools, plus comfort using AI-assisted analytics to connect field activity to pipeline, win rate, and deal size
  • Exceptional communication and storytelling with CISOs and executives, distilling complex DNS and security topics into “Why Change / Why Infoblox / Why Now” narratives grounded in evidence
  • Hands-on fluency with AI-enabled productivity and security tools (Infoblox IQ, Copilot/Glean-style assistants, AI MCP integrations) with sound judgment on human review
  • Proven ability to align Product, Product Marketing, Sales Enablement, Sales Ops, and regional leadership around a shared quality bar and ICP-specific content
  • Track record of building partner, reseller, and alliance relationships that generate new-logo pipeline, defend renewals, and drive joint executive events
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Security, or equivalent experience; CISSP, CCSP, or cloud/networking certifications are a plus

Be Successful — Your Path

First 90 Days: Immerse in our culture and TD sales recipe, connect with mentors (Blox Buddies), and map the systems and meet with key stakeholders that rely on your work. Assess current state through dashboards, QBR process and engagement data and identify gaps.  Join strategic customer/partner engagements at CISO level and discuss and create short/long term goals.

Six Months:

  • Learn and pressure-test the current Threat Defense recipe by shadowing live Workshops, Assessments, Inspect deployments, and BVAs across regions
  • Map stakeholders across Product, Product Marketing, Sales Enablement, WW Security Sales, regional leadership, and top partners and align on priorities
  • Audit existing dashboards, QBR processes, POC workflows, and data hygiene to identify adoption gaps and quick wins
  • Consolidate critical TD GTM materials into a single, coherent v1 playbook with clear standards, examples, and inspection points

One Year:

  • Achieve broad adoption of the TD GTM recipe as the common language across PSS, SEs, AEs, and regional leadership in AMS, EMEA, and APJ
  • Establish trusted engagement/win-rate dashboards that demonstrate a clear directional link between Workshop/Assessment activity and deal size, win rate, and pipeline
  • Align Product Marketing, Product Management, and Sales Enablement on a shared quality bar for TD, Axur, and Kentik enablement and Infoblox IQ narratives
  • Ensure activation of  2–3 priority reseller, distributor, or alliance partnerships that consistently source new logos and co-drive TD opportunities
  • Mature the operational backbone — POC approvals, SPIFF/compensation, and token/license tracking — running on clean, trusted data and AI-assisted inspection
