The Homeowners Countrywide Insights team is looking for a Director I to be a key driver of our business success. In this role, you won't just report the numbers; you'll analyze the "why" behind them, connecting the dots between top-line performance and bottom-line profitability. You'll be a crucial partner, shaping our strategies and ensuring we achieve our goal of profitable growth. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented, strategic thinker who can masterfully manage multiple priorities and communicate with executive presence.

Pay Philosophy: The typical starting salary range for this role is determined by a number of factors including skills, experience, education, certifications and location. The full salary range for this role reflects the competitive labor market value for all employees in these positions across the national market and provides an opportunity to progress as employees grow and develop within the role. Some roles at Liberty Mutual have a corresponding compensation plan which may include commission and/or bonus earnings at rates that vary based on multiple factors set forth in the compensation plan for the role.

What You'll Do:
- Drive Strategy with Data: Go beyond monitoring by providing strategic recommendations on major business initiatives.
- Present to Senior Leadership: Regularly present your findings to high-level audiences, translating complex analysis into clear, actionable insights for our senior leaders.
- Master the Moving Pieces: Expertly juggle a wide range of responsibilities in a fast-paced environment, from deep-dive analytical projects to high-level readouts.
- Influence and Collaborate: Act as a key analytical partner across the organization, influencing decisions and gaining buy-in to improve business performance.

What You'll Bring:
- Strong analytical and technical skills, with the ability to learn new concepts quickly.
- Exceptional communication skills and a strong executive presence.
- A super detail-oriented and proactive mindset.
- Experience in Personal Lines (PL) or Commercial insurance.
- A collaborative spirit with a passion for creating an inclusive team culture.

- Previous people management experience.

Qualifications
- Master's degree in Mathematics, Economics, Statistics or other quantitative field; Ph.D. helpful given quantitative work they are leading.
- Minimum 8, typically 10, years' experience; must have exceptional planning, analytical, decision-making and project management skills.
- Expert knowledge of data sources, tools and business drivers.
- Knowledge of statistical techniques required. Industry knowledge critical.
