Working at Atlassian
Atlassians can choose where they work - whether in an office, from home, or a combination of the two. That way, Atlassians have more control over supporting their family, personal goals, and other priorities. We can hire people in any country where we have a legal entity. Interviews and onboarding are conducted virtually, a part of being a distributed-first company.
Your future team
The Investor Relations team sits at the heart of Atlassian's long-term strategy, operating with the mission to drive Atlassian's long-term narrative to connect investors, employees, and customers with our mission. We own the strategic story the company shares with the global investment community, shaping how our strategy, business model, and performance are understood across Wall Street and internally.
As the Director of Investor Relations, you will serve as a senior IR leader and key partner to the Head of Investor Relations. In this high-impact, highly visible role, you'll help lead the day-to-day execution of the IR function, represent Atlassian in deep interactions with the investment community, and partner closely with executive leadership. You'll be the connective tissue between Wall Street, Finance, Legal, Communications, and Product - translating complex financials and technical product strategies into compelling external narratives.
What you'll do
  • Drive strategic narrative & external messaging: Lead the articulation of Atlassian's long-term strategic and financial narrative across the investment community, connecting business-model evolution, product milestones, and market dynamics.
  • Lead earnings & financial disclosures: Own the strategy, preparation, and execution of the quarterly earnings cycle - Shareholder Letter, earnings call script, Q&A prep, and investor presentations. Partner with the Disclosure Committee and Legal on 10-Q/10-K filings and ensure rigorous adherence to compliance and selective disclosure standards.
  • Advise and brief executives: Act as a trusted advisor to the CEO, CFO, and Executive Team - preparing detailed briefing documents, anticipating market reactions, and delivering insight ahead of conferences, roadshows, and earnings.
  • Manage investor & analyst engagement: Serve as a primary spokesperson for Atlassian, leading and participating investor meetings, including non-deal roadshows, fireside chats, and major investor conferences.
  • Deliver signature IR events: Spearhead the planning and execution of flagship moments, including Investor Day and other buy-side events, ensuring cohesive content alignment across product, go-to-market, and finance leadership.
  • Own market sentiment & feedback loops: Conduct proactive investor perception analyses and surveys to gauge how Atlassian's strategy and key bets land with the Street, synthesize feedback into actionable recommendations for the C-suite.
  • Lead cross-functionally: Be a leader and partner across Finance, Strategy, Corporate Development, Legal, Data Science, and Corporate Communications to align internal teams, help drive the business, and ensure consistent messaging across all stakeholders.
