We’re seeking a Director, Learning Development to design the strategy, build and deliver high impact‑ learning experiences for our leaders, and scale a cohesive capability-building system that strengthens team member impact across the company. The selected individual won't just run programs; you’ll design, launch, and scale the learning initiatives that define our team member experience as we grow. We need a forward-thinking strategist; someone who builds with scalability in mind, pairing deep empathy with the resourceful problem-solving skills required to drive results in an evolving landscape
Responsibilities- Design & Execute a Learning Strategy: Evolve our company-wide learning and build our development roadmap that supports growth, engagement, and capability building.
- Partner with our Talent Management team, Leadership and People Mangers to assess our current state of learning through needs assessment and comprehensive review of data to drive a learning environment that supports our team members.
- Partner with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to translate complex knowledge into actionable learning; iterate on solutions through stakeholder socialization and feedback loops.
- Leverage adult learning theory and modern instructional design to produce engaging, learner-centered materials that drive retention and behavior change.
- Establish a robust evaluation framework to measure the efficacy of content, delivery, and learner outcomes, using data to continuously refine and elevate the learning experience.
- Lead high-energy workshops and strategic discussions that inspire engagement and practical application across all levels of the organization.
- Ensure all development initiatives are closely aligned with business priorities and long-term strategic goals.
- Strategically vet and manage third-party L&D partnerships, ensuring high-quality delivery and maximum ROI.
- Act as the internal authority on emerging L&D trends, learning technologies, and innovative pedagogical methods to keep our team future-ready.
- Build high-quality learning experiences for employees at all levels—including onboarding, early career, people leader development, and high-potential talent/succession programs.
- Lead a small, agile L&D team and partner with cross-functional leaders to build a shared learning culture.
Supervisor Responsibilities:
Four Learning Team members
- 10+ years of experience in learning & development or leadership development.
- A track record of building and scaling successful learning programs that drive measurable outcomes.
- Strong instructional design and learning technology acumen, including blended learning, learning platforms, and AI-enhanced tools.
- A strategic approach and hands-on leadership style—able to think big and execute quickly.
- Ability to work in a cross-functional, matrixed setting and influence senior leaders.
- Data fluency—able to define success metrics, assess return on investment, and adapt based on insights.
- Bonus: coaching certification, experience with career pathing, succession cohort development or manager enablement.
