Job Overview

The Director of Procurement will lead Coretelligent’s Procurement team and oversees the full lifecycle of purchasing, vendor management, and logistics operations. This role plays a critical part in ensuring that procurement processes run efficiently, accurately, and in alignment with business and client needs.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on, process-driven leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment. You’ll guide a small, collaborative team while driving continuous improvement initiatives across systems, workflows, and vendor relationships. This is an opportunity to make a measurable impact by optimizing how Coretelligent procures technology, manages suppliers, and supports company-wide cost and performance goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop the Procurement Operations team, setting clear performance goals and fostering a culture of accountability, accuracy, and collaboration.
  • Oversee the end-to-end procurement lifecycle — from sourcing and purchasing to fulfillment and reconciliation — ensuring operational efficiency and alignment with internal policies.
  • Drive process improvement and automation across procurement systems (ServiceNow) to streamline workflows and enhance reporting accuracy.
  • Partner with Finance and Operations leadership on budgeting, forecasting, and asset lifecycle visibility to support broader financial and operational goals.
  • Manage vendor relationships, negotiating contracts and maintaining pricing consistency while identifying opportunities for vendor consolidation and cost optimization.
  • Track, analyze, and report on procurement performance metrics; use data to guide operational improvements and executive-level decision-making.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Client Success, and Project Management teams to align purchasing and fulfillment with client delivery timelines.
  • Serve as an escalation point for complex or high-impact procurement challenges, ensuring timely resolution and minimal disruption to internal operations.
  • Support special initiatives and cross-functional projects that enhance scalability, cost control, and service delivery alignment across Coretelligent’s business units.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of professional experience, with at least 3 years in procurement operations, vendor management, or IT sourcing.
  • Proven experience managing a small team and driving performance through coaching, clear expectations, and accountability.
  • Advanced understanding of procurement processes, vendor lifecycle management, and contract negotiation.
  • Experience in the technology or managed services industry, with familiarity in hardware, software, and IT services procurement.
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills; capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Salary Range for this position (depending upon experience):

$120,000 - $150,000

This range reflects the minimum and maximum targets for new hires across all US locations (with the exception of MA, NY, and CA). Within the range, individual pay is determined by job-related skills, experience, work location, and relevant education or training.
